I think you missed the point, but to each his own.Way to completely miss the point.
And anyway, the US is a secular republic, not a theocracy.

1. So what? But, there is nothing in the bible that supports that view.
But, this whole splinter conversation was in regards to defense of religious freedom and how that can conflict with LGBT civil rights. If there is no basis for something in the bible, there is definitely no justification for a Christian to claim something is in conflict with their religion. They are otherwise just making shit up. I wasn't discussing other reasons to justify "anything."1. So what?
2. The bible isn't the only game in town to justify anything people want to justify.
Given that I was talking about laws, an isolated incident doesn't really count.Would someone who voted for Trump being beaten in the street (because of how he voted) qualify as "an example."
Let's get this lie out of the way. We aren't upset a Republican won. We're upset that a Republican who has promised to do racist, bigoted and cruel things won is promising to do those things. If Jeb Bush or someone else had won, you wouldn't be seeing this.

Do you even remember that election? Things were a little tense. You did it to his brother George.
The Bible contains whatever people want it to contain. That's why it's been used to justify every horrific act in the last two thousand years.Try telling them that
Marie Le Pen of France, the National Front leader of an ultra right wing French party that would suck at the nipple of the National Socialists if they were still around believes Mr Trumps win will be a boost to her party. If I had people like her and the KKK happy to see me in office I would be concerned. The fact Mr Trump and his supporters are not bothered by this says it all.
Yeah. First of all, Trump was outvoted. By millions, by the time the counting is completed. I've run into some ecstatic Trump people online saying "The people spoke," and yeah....they did. They spoke, and picked Hillary. The electoral college picked Trump.
No one is "crying wolf," Trump's racism and bigotry are factual and in the public domain. Link: Here Are 13 Examples of Donald Trump Being RacistYou did it to his brother George.
While we're on the subject of honesty, when it come to the subject of racism and bigotry your side has screamed it so often at republican candidates that you've become the boy who cried wolf. Dont blame the country for reaching the point that they stopped taking you seriously on the subjects.
I'm really stunned at what little thought actually goes in to picking a candidate. Trump can say the most awful bigoted things, but at least he isn't Hillary Clinton. I truly wonder how bad someone has to be before some people would turn away in disgust, I wonder if there is a line they won't cross.
