Just when I thought my opinion of Trump could not get any lower I see pictures of him in a meeting with the despicable Nigel Farage.

Farage is not an MP. He's not there in any official capacity, indeed the Prime Minister has banned her MPS from speaking with him about Trump.

That man is an unrepentant xenophobic bigoted racist.

You're off to a good start Donald.

This is the not first time Nigel Farage's name has been associated with Trump. He spoke at a Jackson, MS rally in August.

Not exactly true. Forcing a conservative christian bakery owner to bake a cake for a gay wedding would be an example. Whether you think the bakery owner is wrong for refusing or not, the bakery owner is being denied the freedom to refuse to provide service.
By that argument, bakeries should be legally allowed to deny services to any minority that they personally despise, whether black people, Jews, disabled people... I don't agree. Freedom from discrimination is one of the most important freedoms of all.

The man is absolute poison. And a failure -- he has never become an MP, and his far-right party (which is explicitly xenophobic) has only ever bad be MP, a defector from the Conservative party. He is however incredibly dangerous.

Oh well. Dont vote for someone who says that all mexicans are rapists and criminals then.
He didn't say that. Repeating the lie over and over doesn't make it true.
No sympathy from me.

Hence why I feel no sympathy for all the wusses in america crying over Trump. You want sympathy for those that have gone nuts over an election result but have none for innocent people being attacked for excercising their right to vote.

Violence is perfectly reasonable for you when it's against the other side. Typical leftie.

He is, however, an MEP.

Yes he is. Pretty sure The US is not in Europe though.

He's a hate filled bigot who should be in prison for numerous examples of inciting racial hatred. He has no credibility with any politician of substance. Trump should steer well clear.

He is very dangerous, I totally agree. His behaviour last week after the high court ruling was shameful and childish.
He is however a powerful orator and unfortunately too many people are still taken in by him.

I live in hope that his party will slowly disintegrate as people start to see through his screamy nonsense about TAKE BACK CONTROL.

Hey, that's kinda like Trump and

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

Shouty headlines with absolutely zero substance.

Yes but under anti-discrimination laws they can't bake a wedding cake for a hetro-sexual couple and not bake a same gender couple. They can of course refuse to bake any wedding cakes as that doesn't discriminate.

Change same gender couple for a couple of a different ethnic background would it be ok to deny them a cak?
Good example as there are so called Christian folks who believe miscegenation is of the devil, especially when one of the parties is black. So for people who genuinely believe in separation of the races should they be allowed to not serve a mixed race couple? Should we go back in time when to act like a racist was legal?

Wasn't the original version the thing McCarthy was doing in the 50s?

Surely even they they could tell this was wrong couldn't they?

How did McCarthy get so much power?
It was the height of the Cold War, the fear of communism was greater than their love of liberty and decent values. Fear is a great motivator.

Giant Meteor is off my Christmas card mailing list this year. Seriously, you let us all down. We expected a little gratitude after all the movies we've made about you over the decades.

I already responded to that argument. Not true. There is no religious basis for denying service to a particular race. At least not if you are a Christian. There is no reference in the bible to racial supremacy or division being okay.

There is a reason why Jim crow laws and other such legal actions existed in the past. Because God fearing folks believed it was the right thing to do. And some of their descendants still do. Apartheid and segregation continued until the last century, its in living memory.

But, there is nothing in the bible that supports that view.

Way to completely miss the point.

And anyway, the US is a secular republic, not a theocracy.
