Instead of just treading water, he could have spent this entire year building sets and filming scenes. The judge said there was no injunction against continuing production.

If AP intended to make the movie, he could have been a long way toward completion by now. Instead, he's spent the year whining and pointing fingers and traveling and pissing away the donors' money.

In my opinion, Axanar was never going to happen.

History is repeating itself as AP also used the same tactic of hiding behind a hand puppet (Dan Benton) on a prop blog.

I asked Mike Bawden (Axanar P.R. rep.) if he is being paid with donor funds. He answered he isn't, his services are free but later it turns out he's been promised a stake in the studio as compensation and he's one of the "secret" studio investors. NuDiana denied having any involvement with the studio yet it turns out she has a studio position. Johnathon Lane is directly involved with Axanar.

The dishonesty on the part of AP and his current circle of like minded liars reminds me of a quote:

As far as I can tell, Mike Bawden and NuDiana's status as members of the investment group is just speculation and assumption, so I haven't reported this.

The only actual facts in there are that Mike said his position as PR director is volunteer and NuDiana is listed as the marketing person on the Industry Studios website.

I had previously mentioned that Mike Bawden was promised a stake in AP's not-a-studio. The above screen shot of Terry McIntosh's conversation is where I got that info from.

Whatever bullying you are experiencing, I hope you know that you have several friends here, myself among them. Your insight has been most appreciated and very much valued amongst those of us who are, really, just laymen when it comes to the intricacies of the law and the various permutations this whole debacle has taken. Like @carlos and @jespah, yours has been a reliable voice of reason and of expertise whose opinions have been worth every minute reading. I would urge you to reconsider, but understand if you decide to leave. Just know that we are your friends and we've got your back.

The day will come when dipshits like Alec Peters get their due. Perhaps ironically, his will be in a courtroom and, hopefully, sooner rather than later.

Whilst it isn't in anyway on the same level, when the Brexit vote went the way I didn't want it to earlier this year, and racists and xenophobes appeared to win the day, I found myself thinking of Mr Worf and an episode of DS9 the name of which escapes me. Essentially, much like Mr Worf on the Defiant, we're faced with a choice of surrendering or attempting to escape. His solution in the face of apparently insurmountable odds should be our solution..
