Not that it matters anyway as cat owners stopped caring about their cats long ago so they belong to me now.

Tomorrow, attorneys for Axanar and CBS/Paramount try one more time with federal magistrate to find common ground for a settlement in their copyright lawsuit.

Each meeting is documented in civil minutes issued by the court. They don't give much more information than that the meeting occurred but they do announce whether any followup meetings will occur. Stay tuned...

I haven't actually got a massive problem with the guy doing that in the warehouse. Personally, I'd be too ashamed to do so let alone have someone film it and put it on Youtube (damn his ego. I wonder if it was Burnett behind the camera?). Maybe all the players have to sign a No Questions Agreement so Alec doesn't have to keep explaining what the ugly tangle of carpentry is in the corner or maybe each player has to donate to Axanar.

Either way, I warmed to the guy a little after reading his post about the December get-together (even though I'm not into that stuff) as the Warhammer game-playing is probably the most positive thing he's done (that we know of) for some time.

I don't expect a settlement is in the cards. I don't believe that Alec can accept a settlement unless he's guaranteed to be able to make Axanar lest he suffer the wrath of his donors, the attorney general, and perhaps even the Feds.
