Voyager Halloween epsiodes!

Since today is Halloween, I wanted to make a list of Voyager episodes that could possibly work as Halloween episodes. I'm still a little sad there aren't any actual ones (and no Christmas episodes as well!), but let's make the best out of it!

Season 1:

idea from @Voth commando1
•"Cathexis":
Chakotay literally being a ghost, several crewmembers being "posessed" by aliens and Kes sensing that someone invisible is in the room makes a great Halloween episode!

idea from @Tracy Trek

• "Faces":
Tom, B'Elanna and Durst are under Vidiian arrest. While Vidiians are already Halloween-like in general, there is more. B'Elanna has to face her worst (existential) fears by getting split into two people; the crazy Vidiian doctor openly flirts with her Klingon version; and Durst's face is getting skinned!

Season 2:

• "Persistance of Vision":
This is maybe not a completely Halloween-ish episode, but at least the beginning gave me chills. I mean, holodeck characters walking around with long knives isn't too normal. Not even aboard the Voyager.

• "The Thaw":
Right, so, if the personification of Fear (who lookes like a clown) isn't perfect for Halloween (especially 2016), I don't know what is! The whole episode is basically a "freakshow" which gives Harry and the others some true horror moments.

Season 4:

"Revulsion":
The Isomorph is a crazy serial killer. Period. Alright, who's supported by the Doctor - but who is surprised by that? Generally, a great Halloween-bloody-jump scare-episode where B'Elanna almost gets killed! And who doesn't want to see that woman in action?

idea from @tomalak301
•"Waking Moments":
Everyone on the ship are having nightmares - from "funny" ones (like Tuvok's) to jump-scary ones (like Janeway) - and Chakotay finds himself having to rescue Voyager while not knowing whether he is awake or sleep. Really well done, Inception-esque (before that movie existed), Halloween-like episode!

idea from @Sophie74656
• "One":
A Deck full of Borg drones, a creepy guy trying to sell things inside a nebula in the middle of nowhere, and the crew as zombies scaring the hell out of Seven. And it all happens inside her head. That's a real Halloween episode!

Season 5:

idea from @The Lonely Man
• "Night":
Voyager gets stuck in a dark, starless region of space while getting attacked by some jump-scare-inducing aliens. Because they turn out to be the good guys shortly after, the Halloween theme is mainly over - but Janeway struggling with (maybe) depression is really sad and gripping, so the episode is worth a watch altogether.

idea from @Ghislaine H. B. BRAEME
• "Bride of Chaotica!":
This is not a scary episode at all, but it's still a very Halloween-ish episode because of the whole senior staff dressing up as different characters. While the plot is pretty simple and predictable, it's always fun to watch - probably also on Halloween!

• "Juggernaut":
Quite similar to "Revulsion", I'd say, since B'Elanna is the protagonist once more, but this time she's not alone and nobody is supporting the killer. The "monster" is actually pretty creepy, since they can't see it and we only partially do. A cool B'Elanna fighting scene at the end and the episode is perfect for Halloween!

Season 6:

• "The Haunting on Deck 12":
Okay, the name says it all, but I didn't only choose it because of that. I think the combination of a "Voyager mystery", Janeway in action, the Borg children, and Neelix is something we didn't have ever before (and I love it!). There are some jump scares and it's a bit creepy, but nothing really serious. I just generally love this episode and it works very well under the name "Halloween episode".

So, everyone, tell me what you think or if you can think of any more Halloween episodes!

Concerning, "Darkling": I saw it on many Star Trek Halloween episode lists, but it's not really Halloween-like to me AND I can't stand the episode, I'm sorry.

I just noticed how many times I misspelled "episode" and I apologize for any "epsisodes" or "epsiodes" that I have not corrected. (Like in the title...)

What about Faces. I can think of few things creepier than a mad doctor wearing someone elses face.

I always found ONE kind of creepy. Alone on the ship, not knowing if you're talking to someone or going crazy...

Oh yes, and that's one of my favorite scenes! Definitely Halloween-ish.

True! Both the Borg and the creepy random guy scenes are great. Oooh and then at the end, the crew "zombies" follow Seven. We should definitely add this to the list!

Night would be in with a shout, especially when the power goes totally out and we see glimpses of the void dwelling aliens.

Nemesis would work I think.

Yeah, maybe. It's more of a war episode to me, but I understand what you mean. ;)

Yes, that part was definitely Halloween fit! I think the episode in general isn't really, but that's just the same as in "Persistance of Vision" where it was also only the beginning.

Maybe Bliss

You're right, probably also. But only some parts, I'd say here as well. We have to define "Halloween epsiodes"!;)

Was "Persistence Of Vision" designed to be a Halloween episode? Not explicitly, but thematically. I remember thinking that at the time (and maybe "a scary Halloween Voyager!" was the gist of the commercial?), and the original airdate was October 30th...

I also remember reading "Mortal Coil" as a stab at a Christmas episode. Aired in December, sort of "It's A Wonderful Life"-ish in it's theme/messaging...

I'd say "Bride of Chaotica", especially for costumes!

And of course,

I would never have guessed. If it's true, I think they kind of missed the mark. Well maybe not, they kept him from killing himself.

Waking Moments is a little creepy, especially the whole Voyager does Inception before Inception was a thing idea.

How about "Alice"?

Cathexis with ghost Chakotay, dark matter nebula and sinister aliens would work I'd think.

Yes, great idea! I've added it to the list.

It is! I was always rather confused/thrilled than scared, but the beginning of the episode has a lot of jump scares too. So yeah, it's on the list!

I totally see what you mean with both of them, but I think Alice was rather dystopian than horror and Memorial - yes, some scares were there - was rather a war episode like Nemesis.
But thanks for the videos! In the second one there is the scene from Basics were this crewmember gets eaten by some monster - this is still making me jump when I watch the episode.
