The NX prototypes would make a good warp-capable shuttlecraft on 22nd century ships, wouldn't they?
I don't think so. They're rather large to fit into the shuttlebay of any ship of that era.

In other news, I broke ANOTHER ship this week.I was reaching for the Hideki and knocked over the Galor in front of it. It fell on the floor and the little tail thingy snapped off. (Ugh). Fortunately, my trusty glue took care of it.
I don't have any eaglemoss but I have the Spin master Enterprise drone and a few other little ships. Kittens knocked them off my shelf twice last week, breaking one. I put them away until the kittens were gone. Put them back up this morning. And our old cat that leaves and comes back every few months show up this afternoon. And promptly jumped on the shelf knocking them on the floor.
Sometimes you can't win.
That isn't the Trek spirit! It seems I will have to quote those immortal lines...
"My God Bones, what have I done?"
"What you always do, Jim - turn death into a fighting chance to live."
I kept flashing to catspaw myself, with the giant cat attacking the crew.
Either that or just "You broke your little ships".
In other news, I bought the 3-pack of the C,D, and E. Not sure what I'll do with a second "D". I'll look at the other two closer when I get home (currently at work).
This means I now have all the non-special Enterprises save for the refit (which I'm not in a hurry for, since I have the "A") and the "B" (which I really do want).
Is the Borg Sphere their only model where the stand fits into a hole rather than "cradle" the ship?
Yeah pretty much
Goodluck on getting the Enteprise B...hope you like the Reliant a lot.![]()
Yeah, I'm not sure what the reasoning behind that was, especially since they included an identical hole on both sides so it doesn't matter what side you use. I suppose the nature of a spherical ship meant that was the only way to secure it on the stand (no way to clip it on like the other ships), rather than having just rest on a stand and be much more prone to falling over.
Well, I'll probably be ordering it from some vendor on eBay at some point (being Canadian, I don't think I can order directly from Eaglemoss anyway), so hopefully I'll have better luck. (Actually, I would like a Reliant at some point, though).
Really nice fun models with the C especially being a delight. I think because we only ever saw her bashed up and the Ambassador only ever appeared in the background otherwise it never quite clicked what a cool design she was. Especially impressive considering that (even with the head start of the observstion lounge models) she must have had the fastest development of any Enterprise.
It's a shame the Eaglemoss C is the least accurate model in the entire collection :P
