GOG has a "Square Enix" sale over the weekend for the next 5 hours (for US customers at least, I don't know how the site works internationally). Its actually more of a sale of games of franchises Square Enix has bought, stuff like deus Ex, Tomb Raider, Hitman, Thief, etc. I personally got the original Deus Ex (GOTY Edition) and Thief 1 Gold Edition pretty cheap.

For now 4K standards aren't even settled. We have a 4K TV but I'm not sure it has HDR or anything like that. It does seem to be the next standard coming in though. Unlike 3D which came and went.

Competing technologies, a small amount of content, 3D cinema lost it's appeal too, and most of the time people don't want to be wearing 3D glasses just to watch TV.
