Yes, I know when Halloween is. But there's no connection between Discovery and Halloween. It's not a Horror series, there are no ghosts on it, nobody goes trick or treating or dresses up like Wonder Woman.

I haven't seen that quote. Do you have a link? It's a pretty amazing coincidence that this Discovery's registration number is so similar to the Shuttle Discovery's registration number.

I think he was just having fun with the kid. He's said that the ship is named after Space Shuttle Discovery. It's far more likely that the registry number is based on the registry number of the original vehicle rather than a random non sequitur. It would be an amazing coincidence otherwise-- and even more amazing if it was a coincidence that Fuller himself didn't notice.

To be fair, it reads like he was joking. Without seeing the video, it's hard to say if he is being serious or not.
