Spoilers Supergirl - Season 2

I dreamed last night that a giant pumpkin-colored radioactive turtle was fighting Superman in Cinncinati, and instead of Olsen it turned out to be Donald Trump.

It was yuge!

Like I said, that was actually one of my more coherent dreams. At least it had a somewhat logical narrative flow and didn't change its location/situation halfway through.

Ahahaha! That costume looks silly. I didn't want Jimmy moping around the office during the second season, but the robocop costume doesn't inspire confidence we won't sti

Plagiarized! Hahaha

Actually my first thought was of a more armored version of the live action GI Joe movies' Storm Shadow.

I think it's the mask that really brought it to mind.

Random question.

How much time elapased between S1 "Superman is susceptible to mind control" scene, the S1 epilogue with the rocket, and the S2 Venture launch? Between Superman being unconscious, and Superman being in his normal day to day life talking to Perry and saving the Venture?

A better question. Why did everyone act like they'd never met Superman before when he'd just recently been on a slab in the DEO? Did he leave without so much as a "thank you" when he woke up?

Just before Kara got promoted, she got a text from Clark, who apparently had already recovered -- and presumably flown back to Metropolis, or he wouldn't have needed to text her. (Unless that's my generational bias showing -- some people text each other when they're in the same room, let alone the same city.) So it is consistent.

@Christopher: It's doubtful that I can find clips of the scene in question, but Cat definitely pronounced Kara's as "Kair-uh" when she talked about "being the best Kara Danvers you can be".

Okay, I watched it again, and we were talking about two different scenes. You're talking about the first Kara/Cat scene, early in the episode, where she did say that as "Kair-uh." But I was thinking of the later conversation where Cat was using the analogy about diving into water, and she said Kara was reluctant to let go of the mild-mannered, sweet Kara Danvers who worked as Cat Grant's assistant. In that instance, she did say "Kah-ra." So we were both right.

They've released a fun new clip from Monday's episode with Supergirl and Superman teaming up to stop a bank robbery. This is exactly the kind of superhero team up I love.

Those have to be about the dumbest two bank robbers who have ever lived. I mean isn't Superman extremely well established by this point? Like for at least a decade? You'd think every crook on the planet knows when one those two show up you may as well just surrender. I mean clearly they're not supposed to be bright, but that's a level of stupid that makes me wonder how they managed to get inside the bank without repeatedly banging their faces against the plate glass.

Also am I the only one noticing they just took off without restraining either criminal and leaving two (admittedly empty) guns lying around where anyone can pick them up?
