It's a fact that Harry must have felt neglected when Tom got close to B'elanna. Remember when Harry asks Tom to go on a last suicidal mission together and Tom says that he has B'elanna now and gets all the suicidal missions he needs. You can see the feeling of betrayal on Harry's face.

Well, I wouldn't use the word of "betrayal" but rather a great "disappointment" for sure..., until he meets his other half (but for that, he would also stop to fall in easily and alas, often, of the wrong people : Kes, Seven, the alien woman, etc...!), gets married and becomes a father in his turn.

no william shatner had appearance on not only bonanza but was regular on twilight zone lemoy had already had had two series one really good where he played a psychic race csre driver george takei hada long film career before startrek he was like in every ww2 movie john wayne made : deforest kelly had a huge career too as dar as i know only chekov was a newbie to acting i know talei shatnwr and nimoy all had very successful careers before star trek
I know they had careers before Star Trek. I'm just saying that to the best of my recollection, I first saw them in Star Trek.

BTW, may I recommend the use of a spell checker?

Alien STDs will murder you.

Tom and Harry were the only people at the bottom of the Chute that Harry and Tom could frakk safely without maybe a million spiders eating their way out of these boys faces 72 hours later.

Don't think so... unless having included some sexy cowgirls in the program! ;)
Women who look good in hats rock the cowboy look! But seeing guys done up as cowboys just looks like Fancy Dress, does it not? Why not walk down the street as a Pirate, whilst they're at it? Or a Viking, with the great, horned helmet? There hasn't been a real cowboy since 1890, so ... what's with the chaps and ten gallon hats, fellas?

I wrote "cowgirls" because there was a reference in Brokeback Mountain simulation. I guess that Tom and Harry wouldn't care of the outfits as long as those who wear them, are attractive girls!

Before he got married, Tom'd ### anything.

Kim on the other hand has a child like naivety, where he won't present his manparts to a woman unless he's spent a month over-romanticizing her into a paragon who will instinctually repel him.

"Pretty" is not that important when you're a slapper like Tom, or in denial about your own blazing homosexuality like Kim.

Harry had more girls on the show than Tom did

It's good to be lonely, sometimes. It's better than nothing, at all.
It is indeed good to be lonely sometimes.
However, it's pretty bad to be lonely, basically throughout your entire life ...
I was about to say "I will" but then I realized I never found one either. I don't have the radar for this task- gay or straight Tom Paris look-a-likes.
In any case, thanks. But when I say "my real-life Tom Paris", the guy does not need to look like him at all.
Tom basically embodies most of the personality traits I'm looking for in a guy. Most importantly, whatever he is, or whatever he has done, he's always been honest about it. He has the courage to face his own past and instead of beating about the push, he just embraces it.
Incredible as it may sound, I've basically never come across this personality trait in any men ... :wah:
So no, looks are not important, at least not to the extent that the person has to actually look like Robbie McNeill. I guess if Thomas Eugene Paris weren't what he was, I wouldn't even look at him for longer than a second ...
But knowing his personality, I am compelled to say he is galaxy's best boy ... at least for me.

It's a known archetype.

Dude is fighting his natural instinct to cuddle with other dudes so hard, that he keeps throwing himself at women and more women to prove to himself that he is not gay.

Chasing unobtainable women and subconsciously sabotaging quickly any relationship he does accidentally set into being because he underestimated how much of a catch he is.

Since Harry is a fictional character, I'm willing to concede that he was just badly written, but if he was a real person, I would earnestly suspect that he is highly confused and chasing the wrong sort of tail.

As a gay person I'm compelled to agree with the above analysis ...

I honestly think that Harry doesn't know what he wants. I think he requires external validation so much that any self-sabotage indicated of some deep seated neuroses and lack of any sort of confidence to speak up on his own behalf.

There's a paper in there some where.

Or his mother.

Classic Freudian thinking.

(Janeway is a clear substitute for mum.)

The other argument for why Harry might be into boys, is that he remembers being born (Look it up). Retaining the memories of his escape from vagiprison, followed by 7 years of breast feeding, would have left the poor kid in a state where he can't associate the female form with any hope of a pleasant sexual experience.

So you're saying that there was much more to Harry than meet the eye. I always thought that he was rather non mysterious and dull, but maybe it was just his cover story. Maybe he was a spy of some kind.

Harry was born the same year as Wesley Crusher.

They were 21 in Caretaker.

He had the usual problems we all had at that age.

I am not sure what you mean by that. What sort of problems are people supposed to have when they're 21?
