ok not like i haven not ever seen it. i know also way behond the times but finally out of everything else to watch on netflix: so decided to give it a serious viewing berse just back ground noise like in the past: 1.the cast is pretty strong 2 the crew characters i like a lot : my issue is this how is captain janeway not the worst starship commander ever : seriously : keep waiting for one of the cultures she meets to remark how she isnt the most incompetant leader ever: the only problem with the show is the crew never mutinies due to her incompetency. additionally, is one of the writers sleeping or had slept with the actor playing torres: ?

Captain Kathryn Janeway has some issues, but incompetency is not one of them. Fear of intimacy is one. Chakotay found out about that ... first hand. Perhaps her fear(s) came from the way her father died? When it happened, Kathryn hid in her room for months ... MONTHS!!! ... hiding away from reality. She probably didn't even use deodorant, or shaved her legs, or anything, but we don't know that, with any certainty. We just know that Kathryn's more vulnerable than she would like to let on. Vulnerable ... yet competent. Let that be her epitaph.

3 oh. now up to 2 moles and a psycho killer security is fine

5 lets go back in time and in the course of three minutes get voyager hacked, lose our doctor, leave are tricorder forget our communicator : its ok just mucking up the past we are good
and those are just her too five hits off the too of my head.
Janeway's decisions are the fault of bad writing and the lack of character consistency which is a flaw Voyager faces throughout, unfortunately.

1.if you want to really think about it the writer's set her up for this. The show would end if she ignored the Ferengi. Not to mention fuck the prime directive there. those people needed help and I'd do it too. thank goodness I'm not Captain I suppose.
3.She didn't pick her crew manifest. Chakotay had the two moles, thank you. And in the end they were busted.
4.Are we talking about Kim? The producers didn't want another lieutenant in the main cast.
