Carbon Creek, T'Pol tells an interesting story of her ancestor encountering humans in the 1950's. For some reason, the way the story ending I believe it was her who actually experienced that mingling with humans.

That would be a stretch. It would make her more than two hundred years old. Probably closer to 250 or 300 considering she was the commander of the mission.

Yes, unlikely. Apart from the family resemblance, I'd say the ancestor looks like T'Pol because T'Pol is telling the story from her POV.

Breaking the Ice
Vox Sola
Fallen Hero
Broken Bow

I would certainly agree with the first 4 being amongest the top in S1

I thought that episode was a pretty good character study of both Trip and Malcolm and funny to boot.. It obviously cemented their friendship.

Yeah as a closed in story it was an excellent episode. On the DVDs they called it a "bottle episode" as it's only filmed in one main set for the most part.

I liked it because it brought in some lower deck characters. It was an interesting premise, IMHO. I loved the scorpion in the boot. The story was very character driven.

I don't recall it being specifically like or unlike TOS. Bear in mind that I like the ENT setting, so my complaints tend to be when I don't like the stories.
