Welcome to the latest Star Trek Voyager Avatar Contest.

This week I choose one of the most polarizing episodes of the series: Fury. Kes' return to the Voyager crew is not as expected.

The VOY theme as chosen by 2takesfrakes is The Duality of Seska.

The random theme as chosen by Avro Arrow is Beauty in Nature.

The rules: Avs can be no bigger than 200x200 pixels and 1mb in size.

EPISODE THEME
I know I should've chosen an evil-looking Kes, because that's the fun of it. But, in "Fury," Jennifer Lien's gotten a little chubby, which is a state in which we're not used to seeing Kes and that's just fine, because she's adorable (!!!), like she might even be preggers, around this time:

VOY THEME
In keeping with mothering as the basic premise I'm using, here's Seska who's so EVIL ... my god, just SO evil ... and yet? She's still got a streak of good in her, as she makes a fine mum (to her own, at least):

RANDOM THEME
Mother Earth, in all of her glory, to behold and ponder ... all of the Beauty in Nature, in just one shot (very economical, indeed, when avatar-making):
