Hmm, I'm not sure I appreciate German musicians writing songs about me behind my back. Even if it was before I was born.

That's an excellent translation! Which programme did you use? The only error I spot is translating vergnügt as content. It's actually: merry. (content would translate as zufrieden).
The word it couldn't translate, Leut, is's short for Leute: people.
The refrain is just a play with sounds, the sort children use when they decide who's out in a game. I believe it's called a counting-out rhyme.

It wasn't so much the where, it was more the part about the singing being loud and nasty that made me think they may be specifically talking about me!
