What's happened to Sybok?

I know this might seem to be a question fitted for my part of the board, but I just got to thinking, what happened to Sybok in the Kelvin timeline? On the one hand, he refused to be a perfect Vulcan and left, but on the other hand, he's a pure-blooded Vulcan. Do you think in the Kelvin timeline that Sybok has found his way to New Vulcan? What do you think has happened to him in the Kelvin timeline?

Don't know. But sounds like they could save him and Orcis script For the third film for the fifth nuTrek film. He and some zealots go on a quest to restore The prime time line and prevent Vulcans destruction.

But I don't see how that would be. I'm pretty sure he was Sarak's first born.

^ Actually, they never said which was the older brother, but it was probably Sybok since Sarek met his first wife (presumably) before Amanda.

And Sybok is probably out there somewhere. I don't know if he would feel any obligation to return to New Vulcan and help out though.

I like to think Skybok is out there, somewhere. I'm not sure if he's received his vision from "God" yet, so I imagine he's living a relatively harmless existence.

Vulcans are an extremely stubborn lot, I can't imagine them wanting him back just because they're extinct.

I think Sybok didn't leave Vucan right away. Tuvok said that he was a brilliant student at first. So maybe he didn't leave at all and was among the 99.99999 percent of Vulcans killed.

A deleted scene from TFF which is an extension of Spock's pain does carry the implication Spock was still a child when Sybok was exiled.

Exactly. Even if the Vulcans were willing to put aside their disdain of his ways for the interests of breeding stock, Sybok likely is still holding a grudge.

He was exiled, he'd have to. Or are you saying Vulcan exiles are "you are banished from this planet, never to return. But you may leave at your own convenience, take your time.

I'd hope Spock's katra is safe and sound on New Vulcan, or at the very least both Spocks shared a deep meld at some point, sharing of selves and preserving old Spocks knowledge and memories.

If they were looking for an antagonist to move Orci's 3rd script, a passionate Vulcan full of rage over the loss of his world would fit the bill more than your typical logical Vulcans.

Spock is the Vulcan from TOS who has been a pop culture icon for fifty years now. He's the one who spoke the quote you're attributing to Tuvok.
Tuvok is the Vulcan from Voyager. He's never talked about or even mentioned Sybok.

I too agree Sybok is probably out there somewhere.

Wouldn't Sybok's "revolutionary" ways, forbidden ability's for which he was exiled to begin with be part of his DNA? I think so, (ENT episode had a group of them) therefore I doubt New Vulcan would be interested in him donating his genes anyway.
