Lost footage of TOS found in Roddenberry vault. Bluray forthcoming.

And Spock only has a single line. So without Kelley there is no scene.

INT. BRIDGE
Spock and Kirk are in conference at the command chair. McCoy enters from behind them, looking somewhat bemused. He approaches them, stops. Kirk and Spock look at him.
KIRK
Yes, Bones?
McCOY
You might be interested. Lt. Palamas managed
a picturesque faint at breakfast this morning.
KIRK
Oh?
McCOY
Just after the smell of coffee made her slightly ill.
Kirk and Spock stare at him.
SPOCK
Should that be of significance to us, doctor?
McCOY
I don’t expect it to be to you.
(to Kirk)
But it should mean something to you.
KIRK
Something going around?
McCOY
I certainly hope not. I just finished examining her. She’s pregnant.
KIRK
What?
Even Spock looks surprised.
McCOY
You heard me.
KIRK
(beat)
Apollo?
McCOY
(nodding)
Apollo. Positively.
Kirk and Spock look stunned. McCoy continues, dryly.
McCOY
Now I’ll give you an interesting question to chew on.
What will the child be. Man? Or God?
(beat – to Spock)
You want to try that on your computer for size, Spock?
That's not how the revised script went.

Spock got more lines in later drafts?

Spock has two lines in the revised version dated June 1, 1967. This was revised the day the scene was filmed. If someone had actually intervened to stop the filming of the scene midway through, you can bet there would be documentation of that kind of intervention. There isn't. They filmed it, then cut it.

Hey, I took that picture!!

Since we now have the ability to know everything that was shot -- I was wondering if it was ever established if they filmed the scene in "Spectre of the Gun"-- where Kirk jumps on a horse to escape and is knocked off by the forcefield?
That would be a great outtake.

I just watched this episode yesterday, and I don't remember seeing a single horse in it.

Based on the daily production report, as I recall, this scene was never shot.

Based upon everyone's favorite Saturn Award winner, though, they filmed it!

Pretty sure there are horses at the OK Corral. Now I have to check!

Who the heck is "everybody's favorite Saturn winner"--??

He's the guy who wrote the innacurate TOS book?
LOL. Any time I say a wrong fact about Trek someone says, "Stop reading Cushman!"

That's going to become a thing.
"What year did FDR die?"
"1952 ?"
"Quit reading Cushman!"

It was multiple books, but yes, Cushman's inaccuracies have started to leech into the fandom, with people thinking his books are the gospel truth. Which, if you read Harvey's well-researched articles, Cushman wouldn't know the truth if it shot a phaser at his ass.

Well, I haven't read any making of TOS books in many years so any inaccuracies that have leeched onto me are fron old school books.
But the folks around here usually have the correct info handy in short order.

They may as well include the old blooper reels. Clean them up some n put those out. Im hoping this set will be good but only time will tell..alternate takes n deleted scenes? Cleaned up n remastered? Not much info yet about this really..just panels talking about it..
