So, Kodos the Executioner would fit the bill timewise
The series of events that resulted in Kirk and Spock becoming brothers.
I'm not convinced that Fuller's 10 years translates to 3650 Earth days sharp. Might be a bit before "The Cage" rather than a bit after. But 20 years might be stretching it, yeah.

Maybe Fuller means the hypothetical 5 year mission following TMP?Fuller stated that Discovery would take place 10 years prior to Kirk's 5 year mission so it's not Tarsus IV
There is a reference in the DS9 episode "If Wishes Were Horses" that might apply.
During the timeframe that Fuller is describing, a Vulcan ship was lost while trying to seal a subspace rift in the Hanoli system. Instead of the rift being sealed, though, it expanded and swallowed not only the Vulcan ship but the entire star system. Perhaps this is the event (and what's on the other side of the rift) that the Discovery is going to explore.
I thought he said 'previous iterations of Trek' or something similar. But he's given so many extra hints and clarifications I've lost track. It's a reference that is found in TOS. As Fuller stated. So attention would be paid to events there.
2246 An exotic fungus destroys most of planet Tarsus IV'sfood supply. (TOS: "The Conscience of the King"), James T. Kirk - at the age of 13 - is one of nine surviving eyewitnesses to a massacre of some 4,000 colonists ofTarsus IV by Governor Kodos. (TOS: "The Conscience of the King")
Except Fuller says it takes place 10 years before Kirk's 5 year mission, not Pike's.Ten years before TOS could conceivably cover this. "The Cage" takes place in the mid-2250's.
And again, just the two solid facts we have thus far from Fuller's mouth. It's something in TOS, but it was only referenced, not actually seen. Meaning it's not something that played a key part in any of the stories.
