This is a petition I started working on right after I read the news about Discovery being set ten years before The Original Series. I know it's controversial, but I felt the people who agree with it deserve a petition.

I like the general idea of a prequel, might have liked it better if it was 50 years before TOS, but if the writers are up to it, it should be great.

The complaint that TPTB won't be able to threaten the very existance of the Federation every single episode ... GOOD.
