This shot is reminiscent of a woman lying on her back with her legs spread to give better access to her "shuttebay"...

Athe end of the film it shows the ship being built and spins all the way around it.

Finally someone said it, I didn't want to as you never know who's looking at the site.
It's not the butthole by the way the shuttlebay is slanted down and to what would be the front.

I think I could have raised the nacelles just a bit. I'd like to see that fleshed out--but with surface details from the movie. The Balson secondary hull is quite elegant.

Designers in the Kelvin timeline cant seem to get the Enterprise right from the side view. They insist on hanging the nacelles off their front end. It makes no design sense at all. It does look good from other perspectives though. Its a "very good but not quite right" in my opinion.
Compared to the Fanklin though, "The Enterprise A is a disaster''. Its hard to imagine they come from the same designer.
