*Potential Spoilers* What will the Alternate Enterprise-A look like

No door? Look again, pretty sure there is a door. And until we see the actual shuttlebay in the model, we can't say for sure that they didn't keep that design.
The shuttlebay door isn't like that in the film.

Nor is the bottom end of the engineering hull.

Ok, I have no idea what a "cat's ringpiece" is when referring to the shuttle hanger entrance.
Someone please explain lol

Looks good but the model in the movie is definitely different, the pylons are less wing like and the movie version actually has a torpedo launcher.

How do you know? We're never shown it from the side in any detail.
Athe end of the film it shows the ship being built and spins all the way around it.

You have to be quick to catch it though.

Your can see from the shape it's not been changed.

This shot is reminiscent of a woman lying on her back with her legs spread to give better access to her "shuttebay"...
Finally someone said it, I didn't want to as you never know who's looking at the site.

It's not the butthole by the way the shuttlebay is slanted down and to what would be the front.

Come on people.

It looks like both, depending on the angle. I can already picture Klingons making similar jokes:

Trust me, with the legs up like that it can only be one thing and one thing only.

Butt me no butts, it's the other one. :censored:

Female anatomy 101.

Amazed the designer didn't realise, or maybe he knew exactly what he was doing.

There you have it, the ship is definitely female.

Wow this thread went downhill fast didn't it, it's all the designers fault.

As there is such a starship variant proliferation- I ve come up with my own enterprise - the NEUMANNPRISE.

Thoughts?
That looks good

I like the refit 1701-A concept I made with Aridas' Balson hull with a wider saucer to match:

I think I could have raised the nacelles just a bit. I'd like to see that fleshed out--but with surface details from the movie. The Balson secondary hull is quite elegant.

Designers in the Kelvin timeline cant seem to get the Enterprise right from the side view. They insist on hanging the nacelles off their front end. It makes no design sense at all. It does look good from other perspectives though. Its a "very good but not quite right" in my opinion.

Compared to the Fanklin though, "The Enterprise A is a disaster''. Its hard to imagine they come from the same designer.

While I loved the rework of the JJ-prise..... I've added a little tweak of my own. Feels better somehow.
