I love the warm earth tones. Brown/tan with green and blue for the displays.
Agreed. Imagine that as the Stargazer Bridge, would've been far better imo.

Never noticed the flooring before. I don't know the whole story but from what I understand, it was an incomplete set that they either whipped out or threw together for that one brief scene.@tharpdevenport may have been thinking of the flooring of the Ent-A bridge as it appeared at the end of STIV:

Nope, it was the whole bridge redone with the white walls and movie-era Okudagrams.
Not sure about the WHOLE bridge, but certainly at least half of it.The whole bridge? I thought they repainted (and inserted Okudagrams in) only the parts of it that were actually seen in the shot.![]()
^ No, the Excelsior computer voice was indeed Nimoy (under the pseudonym of 'Frank Force').
Nope. I'd heard that too (from an old interview with Lora (formerly Shane) Johnson), but this photo, which began circulating when Majel Barrett died, kind of poked a hole in that:The whole bridge? That's Spock's science station, and the damage control station beyond. I had the chance to ask Michael Okuda about this on his Facebook page maybe a year or two ago, and he confirmed that the whole bridge was repainted, and that he designed new graphics for all the stations.
Nah, too bright and bare. I see it for what it is... A place-holder bridge before the real thing was put in.
But why does Lora/Shane remember it differently, then? That seems like an odd thing to misremember. Maybe the entire bridge was redone after Johnson's visit in anticipation of future movies?Nope. It makes me wish they had just used this repainted/new graphics stations TMP Bridge as seen in the final scene of TVH for TFF or both TFF and TUC.

This was my first thought when I saw the movie back in the 80s. Even though they may not have been needed due to the big armwrests, (as someone already mentioned) for the sake of the movie it would have added much needed texture and variety to the set.NEEDS RAILINGS
