Well it was just me and a friend until my wife heard Rihanna in the trailer. Now she is in. It will be the first time that she has seen a Star Trek film in the theater!Hmph, now to find people who will be willing to go see this film. Star Trek isn't everyone's cup of tea, I'm afraid
Who are you guys planning to go see it with, if anyone?
I don't see the point in being upset about the song. Like most movie tie ins it'll probably play over a two minute section of fifteen minutes of credits. I didn't think it was that bad myself. Kinda reminded me of the Alicia Keys/Jack White theme to Quantum of Solace, Another Way To Die (the only good thing in that movie).
Personally I've never been more blase toward a Trek movie than I am to this on. I'll likely go see it but everything just has me going "meh" . I feel like I've seen it so many times before. And the rumours that have surrounded it since it's inception do nothing to encourage me.
Edit: I will give kudos to whoever has been making the posters. They are all fantastic.

Is anyone going to the Australian premiere next week? I almost forgot about it! It's almost two weeks before the world premiere so unfair!
Considering how long the arse end of the universe has to wait for most stuff they deserve to be thrown a bone every once in awhile
Besides, what else are they going to do during their terrible winter but huddle together for warmth and watch a movie?

australian people always get these movies for first. I remember for stid, they had the premiere in april and someone over the imdb board spoiled the whole movie. ugh.
there are always the haters who, for some reason, end up getting free tickets for these movies

I'm actually surprised the song didn't get snatched up for a James Bond movie. But hey, it's generating not simply good but great buzz for the next Star Trek movie. That is never a bad thing from our point of view. Stop worrying about a pop song. You all should know from all to much experience that "the movie can only suck if the Main Cast sings!"

Most media outlets in Australia have been quite positive towards the recent trailers.
Business Insider Australia had a short review of the 3rd trailer titled 'Here's the gorgeous new trailer for Star Trek Beyond' for example.
I'm sure the premier in Sydney on the 7th will get some coverage on the evening/late evening news; with the media starting to release their reviews and interviews probably two weeks later.
Meanwhile, I'm happy the reception for the 3rd trailer has been positive.
However, I'm staying away from any new footage or TV spots to minimise spoilers.

I wonder what those three 'flashes' are to the left of (what is presumably Elbas craft) possibly phaser blasts from the Enterprise? You can see a small red beam hitting definitely the top two. Thoughts?
