I enjoyed the theme to Enterprise. I also loved this trailer, and Rihanna's grammy award winning voice does not screech.same people that love this lambasted Enterprise fro using a Pop Song. THe trailer looks like the same old tired explosion claptap like the other 2, except with that awful Rhianna Screeching
I'm sorry, those films came before Star Trek 2009, and thus don't count, because these rules only apply to the new films. Star Trek before J.J. Abrams was deep, incisive, thoughtful, high concept, and cerebral. Criticism of the new films that could also apply to the older films does not count, because of reasons, and those reasons are traditional in nature and shall not be infringed upon. Old Star Trek is True Trek, new Star Trek isn't Star Trek at all. Thus sayeth the Real True Fans™.It can be both, See Trek II and IV
Leave it to J.J. Abrams to destroy Star Trek's long held tradition of just appearing in theaters! GRRRR... lens flares!Marketing that gets people excited and interested in a film? Ridiculous!![]()
I'm not sure that was the destruction of the entire Swarm. My bet is that once became clear the ramming trick they used to shred the Enterprise isn't working here to take out the Franklin they blew up a portion sorta like a minefield. I think it's safe to say that we'll see more if the Franklin is headed back to Yorktown since we've already had scenes in trailers with the swarm present there as well. I'd bet that's where the final battle is, this is just the getaway.I'm absolutely not happy that they already showed the destruction of the swarm in this trailer...![]()

Precisely. TWOK was actually considered a mixed bag, and many were upset at Spock's death. Those films were also drubbed by a good portion of the fan base for not being intellectual enough. Especially TWoK.
GR didn't like a lot after TMP.Precisely. TWOK was actually considered a mixed bag, and many were upset at Spock's death.
Even GR didn't like it.
