Stephen Hawking - Turns Out That You Can Escape A Black Hole

Black holes have an "end of life" like a star does?
That doesn't make sense to me. Aren't they just really heavy super compressed matter?

According to Hawking, Black Holes might evaporate over time via Hawking radiation. That's nothing new. He proposed this decades ago.

A black hole is formed when gravity becomes so intense that space is curved till a singularity forms.

The reverse is also true. When enough matter has evaporated from the black hole to the point where the singularity disappears, then the black hole is no longer a black hole as matter can be released normally and light reflecting from the ex-black hole can be seen again.

Space-time rather than space, in fact, and a singularity is really just an embarrassing way of stating that the mathematics implies that all the mass-energy of the collapsed object is compressed to a point with no dimensions -- we don't have any way of knowing if this is its actual fate. Some theorists opine that the energy density is so great that space-time itself must change phase and that black holes can actually spew out their contents as white holes -- perhaps in other space-time manifolds, perhaps elsewhere or elsewhen in this universe. Alternatively, black holes might actually be one or other of boson, electoweak, quark, Q, preon or Planck stars, according to the theory du jour. See, for example, https://arxiv.org/pdf/1401.6562v4.pdf.

There would be no mass-energy left to release and nothing to reflect light. In fact, a black hole effectively explodes as a burst of gamma rays when it finishes evaporating (although black holes containing Planck stars might behave differently). No black holes of mass greater than approximately that of the Moon can currently evaporate by Hawking radiation because the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation is contributing mass-energy in the form of photons faster than they can shed mass-energy by radiation. They can only start to evaporate when the Universe has expanded sufficiently for the CMB effective temperature to have fallen sufficiently to lower the average mass-energy of the impinging photons.

So basically in one aspect a black hole could a wormhole to another location in our Universe or another Universe for that matter. In the other aspect a black hole could teleport someone not to a different time of our Universe but because of the phase shift of the black hole we could be teleported to another dimension within our Universe?

Could both processes function at the same time and same point of origin is the real question?
I definitely do not believe in time travel into the past as being nothing more than really good sci-fi.

But would dimensions exist like the electrons in an orbital where each existence is part of the orbital around a single central source that when the black hole phases could cause us to jump to a higher orbital?

It's all turtle stacking.

Explain.

Turtle stacking refers to the problem of infinite regress. I have not gone far enough back yet to invoke that, and am not trying to explain what caused the universe in the first place. I was merely pointing out the fact that the universe has indeed grown a lot and we have the hard observational data to back it, something you seem to be disputing here.

The Big Bang itself is a massive stack of turtles. Every time a new hole is found in the theory, a new "regression" of patches appears to patch the holes left by the previous patches. We have Dark Matter and Dark Energy, Guth's "Inflation" and other ad hoc "explanations" to cover mega-structures that are too old to have formed since the Bang. And we have anisotropy problems: galaxies and clumps of galaxies, as well as all the heavily massaged data from COBE and WMAP. The truth is we don't know what the microwave "background" is. Some argue that it is a local phenomenon.

@psCargile, which empirical data? Redshift? Don't mistake conclusions or assumptions drawn from the data as being "facts" themselves.
