CBS/Paramount sues to stop Axanar

So basically Axanar is saying their little war story manifest on greenscreens and cgi in the cpus of a few computers from a few grains of sand of a world, on a world as if a grain of sand in a world-galaxy of sand grains, in a universe again of galactic sand grains, is in their minds, this AXANAR cloud of electrons, equivalent in scope and significance to the cosmic microwave background radiation. No wonder they can't notice mere lawsuits.

I know, this is likely just a coincidence, but it's funny to think this might be intentional on Paramount's part.

Apparently they missed my homage to the Axanar trailer.
I think he misspelled hemorrhage.
It appears to have been a freak accident, where he was pinned between his car and the gate where the mailbox was at his home.

Well duh gravity waves. they have been in the news.
Technically, since all understood constituents of the universe (matter and energy) can be seen as waves, waves cannot be "shattered against the firmament", it *is* the firmament.
So while this Axanar metaphor could speak of waves of matter (Klingon ships) being shattered against some universal fabric of the truth of existence (the Federation's right thinking), the metaphor is at certain levels pretty silly.
(not that Heisenberg compensators are so much better)

Actually, great time was had by all, in all honesty.
You know, I'm going to go even farther because it needs to be said.
Alec is aware of who I am for a variety of reasons, but I did feel a little bad about how one of my jokes became a LEGAL fight where I never intended it to be, so I felt morally compelled to apologize for that. It was something that got a bit out of my control so I want to him and apologized. I also said point blank, just to be honest, that I felt that his approach on Axanar was wrong, and I disagreed with what he was doing - face to face.
And he was extremely nice and respectful. We even got to joke a bit about the situation... particularly as I learned from a certain artist that EVERYTHING in text on Axanar is from my fonts... (thanks, Titan Guy! :P ) . I, personally, got the impression that his genuine enthusiasm for his dream has spiraled into this situation, and he's getting some very bad advice from his supporters and lawyers.
So I can't, in good faith, or in good conscious, just rip through him like so much I see here. I get everyone's point, but now having met and talked with him, and looking over this and knowing a LOT more than I did... I can't help but think that some of the vitriol we're seeing is actually making things worse and a fan-friendly solution even more untenable.
Because at the end of the day, really, even if I don't think Axanar is as important or as great as being made out to be by Axanar's supporters, I do want fans to enjoy being fans... and I find myself wishing, strongly, that that positive solution for all involved was possible at this point.

Quick question, is all the dialogue from the recent teasers/trailers lifted from Prelude? I'll admit I've only watched Prelude the once, and that was some time ago, but I don't recall it being that shouty?
