Spoilers Orphan Black Season 4 Discussion

I don't know if I'm ready fir the season to end. This has been such a great season that I wish there were like 5 more episodes. After tonight it will be another close to a year wait, unless for some stupid reason the show doesn't get renewed for a season 5.

Hooray! First The Americans (although they got two seasons) and now Orphan Black. I can only hope we also get a good deal for Game of Thrones, but I'm not liking these shortened-seasons rumors I've been reading.

I knew for OB the fifth season would be the last mainly because what the writers said last year about it being the last. I like that the writers had their plan for the series and is allowed to follow through. Hopefully it's a great final season.

I'm also glad it's the final season because I want to see what Tatiana does next. I've started seeing some other things she's done and it's pretty good but after OB I think she can do better. I would also love if she was part of Star Wars but but if not there's plenty of other options.

Hopefully, there will be a movie or mini-series in the future. Lots of things going on in OB, maybe they won't wrap everything up.

I would love a miniseries or movie showing how Beth, Cosima, and Alison first met. I'm really happy we got some Beth this season so I'm not itching for it as much as I was before the season started, but I wonder what someone like Alison's first reaction was when she found out she was a clone.

Somehow I had a feeling that Krystal wouldn't recognize her own (clone's) face, and I was right. Although I love how she keeps finding out genuinely useful stuff while still having no clue.

And yay, we finally got a real impersonation from Sarah!

I just binge-rewatched the entire first season of Killjoys yesterday, and now the guy who played the Company man Hills on that show is here as the chairman of the Evil Board of Evil.

I'm confused -- if Rachel took the whole cell line, how did Delphine get her hands on it? Oh, yeah... Cosima must've snatched a few Petri dishes when she told Charlotte to wait while she went to get something.

That was a great finale. Yes we got cliffhangers, but I thought we also got some optimism to the point where the cliffhangers don't feel that bad to me. We got to see Cosima and Delphine together in a very human scene. We got the hope that Cosima has the cure (Or at least that's what I'm going to believe until the fifth season premiere) and she and Delphine will figure it out together, as it's always been and meant to me. Susan might not be dead, even though man she lost a lot of blood.

With that though, we did get some insane cliffhangers. I have a feeling Sarah will be saved in the first few minutes of the premiere, but that was a hell of a scene with her and Rachel. Rachel has always been a ruthless, power-hungry egotist and Maslany played her perfectly here. I'm actually excited to see the return of Season 2 Rachel next season. And especially when Sarah stuck a pencil in Rachel's eye, Rachel considers this very personal, while grabbing power and I'm very interested to see where that story goes.

I think if there was one thing this finale could have done better, and I knew this was going to happen because there was a lot that went on this season, I felt Helena and Alison got the short shrift. I know Helena is kind of mobile-less right now with the babies, but I missed seeing the psycho killer here. I actually wonder if it had made more sense if Alison had gone with Sarah to the Island. She's good with the gun, and she said she was ready to really get involved in what was going on. I'm also surprised this season kind of ignored her becoming a member of the school board. It felt like she won, but it became a non-story as this season went on. I think I can live with it because like I said, I think there might have been too much going on. Maybe the writers just filled too many eggs in the basket and decided to drop some of the non-important storylines, like the Proletheans, the school board, and have Mark and Gracie living out whatever lives they have left. I almost want to see a streamed line version of the show where what we saw here was like Season 3 and Season 2 set that stuff up.

Other than that, I really loved this season, and I loved this finale. Now that we're getting the final season, I think they put the pieces in motion to the point where we are at an endgame and that really excites me. It excites me that it will come down to clone club vs. the Proclone and it excites me where they go with the bots/clones story. I'm always optimistic about this show and I think when all is said and done, Orphan Black will go into my top 5 sci fi series of all time, along with shows like Farscape, Star Trek DS9 and TNG, and Babylon 5.

Well, at least Susan didn't leap up and start running around the island parkour-style, but a knife wound like that is pretty much fatal without surgery, antibiotics, etc, etc...

I think Ferdinand is going to feel the Wrath Of Helena™ in the first ep of season 5. Helena wasn't in the last scene in which we saw Allison & Donnie, she may very well be on her way to where she thinks Sarah would be.

Or where S and Kira are.

So many cliffhangers. Must resist the urge to scream. Too late.

I feel your pain, dude. So many great cliffhangers. Soooo many months until they get resolved.

My husband is bonkers for this show. He actually leaned back in his chair and said, "Oh, God Damn it!" when the episode was over.

I've seen a bit of speculation about the possibility of a spinoff or movie after the show ends. I think I kinda want to see a spinoff that retells the whole thing entirely from Krystal Goderich's perspective. The saga of her quest to expose scandal and corruption in the cosmetics industry is too good to pass up. They could call it Orphan Blonde. :D

There was so much that happened in the finale but one of the best scenes of the season was when Krystal first meets Sarah and tells them everything and The look Felix gives is priceless. :guffaw:
