Is DS9 on the air anywhere?

Just wondering if DS9 is on the air anywhere?

I see TOS on the Me-TV network (broadcast & cable), and TNG on BBC America (just because of Patrick Stewart??)

But DS9???

Nowhere that I'm aware of in the US, except streaming services.

Yeah I remember noticing it on a channel not too long ago. Can't remember the channel as I was helping my Dad out with his loft conversion but I know it was on the television as my parents don't have the series on DVD. Wish I'd asked what channel it was on now LOL.

Yeah, it's been on Freesat in the UK lately. Unfortunately, the station (CBS Action, I think) displayed it in 16:9 aspect, cropping the top and bottom of the frame. Needless to say, the picture looked fuzzy as heck.

It's on daily in Germany on TELE5, where they have cycled through the whole series several times now. All the modern Trek series are shown, to be precise. Sometimes I'll catch an episode here ot there, but most of the time I'll just pop in a DVD to watch a specific episode. It's nice that it's still shown, though.

Yeah it has been on CBS action recently, however just to note they showed the final episode last Friday, it does appear however that they are showing Emissary part I tonight so I guess they are showing it through again. its 8pm UK time if anyone is interested.

It's also on Syfy in Germany :)

I never watch TV anymore for anything besides the news and sports, thanks to streaming services, but I agree that it's nice to have the option :)

It's a weird thing: here in Australia, TNG is in rerun on the channel "Gem" (but only the first two seasons, in a loop, and in non-HD format), and VOY is being rerun on "Eleven" (the full series this time at least.) But DS9, TOS, and ENT are nowhere to be found on the schedules.

I think the last time I had Foxtel (subscription TV), TOS-R were being shown on Scifi Channel in a bastardized Cropped-To-Widescreen format. But whether that is still the case I can not vouch, as I gave up my Foxtel a long time ago.

FWIW, in the U.S. I see there's one ep (Rejoined) airing 4 times today on Decades (CBS' digital OTA subchannel of nostalgia programming). Just seems like a random, one-time (and rather pointless, not really a standout episode) showing. I think I've seen TOS and VOY show up that way as well. Decades also does all-weekend series marathons; don't think I've seen any Trek done that way though.

Thanks...that can be helpful

If DS9--or any Trek series, for that matter--isn't airing in your local area, it's either because your local station(s) isn't interested or isn't even aware of it. All Trek shows are available for rebroadcast for any station or network that wants them.

Just saw the website...do they just have a 43 year old intern as staff? Terrible... nowhere near the money spent on ME-TV

I wonder if this is a one-off for LGBTQ month... i'll check back next week

I'm pretty lucky in the UK at the moment, CBS action show a episode of the Original series, then later a episode of DS9, on another channel (pick if I recall) are showing Stargate SG-1 followed by Andromeda (it was Sanctuary until about 2 weeks ago). So I have a lot of my Sci-fi needs met.

Occasionally, an episode of DS9 will pop up on the cable channel Decades. This week it ran Rejoined.

Always on in the U.K. on cable.

It was showing on two different stations not long ago...

Weirdly though on none of the streaming services in the UK. Amazon had VGR and TOS (remastered no less) for a while, Netflix had TNG, now no-one has any trek at all.

I'm guessing UK fans are DVD/Blu'd up to the extent no-one really watches them on streaming.
