One thing I scanned today, which is oddly contemporary to Star Trek is Chuck Braverman's 1968 short film An American Time Capsule, which first found fame when shown on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. The version I scanned was slightly altered from the original to include Nixon's downfall. Usually the copies online are crappy. Hopefully my scan shows it off better. It's only 3:46 with leader. Have a watch.

Holy smoke, what an undertaking. As someone who edits a lot of video, I can't imagine how long that took Braverman. And it's a stylistic time capsule all its own, too.

Yeah, I wonder how much of that was editing and how much (if any) was just switching the artwork out on an animation stand based on a timing chart.
