CBS/Paramount sues to stop Axanar

Well it seems the only traffic that is of actual consequence is CBS and Paramount. Everything else is just hostile words really.
Yep. Internet outrage is cheap and easy. Getting CBS/Paramount on your ass and into court? That's the fleet of tanker trucks bearing down on you.

With Mythbusters parasailing off and speakers emanating a disembodied countdown syncd to the turn signals. :rommie:

To me the case looks like it will become more aggravating to donors for a while. If anything flaky is going on with the secret investors, the press may pick up on it and there could be a local maximum peak AP to prod the donor base and AG/consumer protection offices (totally unlikely, of course ). The absolute max peak AP, who knows...

Did anyone else notice in Alec's exchange with Johnpaul over on Facebook, that Alec said "my business isn't crumbling"? Since when is a fan film a business?

I am surprised that he only referred to it as a "Business"...I would have thought he would have used the word, "Empire".

Plus, less worry over the legal definition of "Business" vs. "Empire"

It would be Criminal (!) if The High Infringer did not immediately thief the USS muCephi, NCC 17541 (post number 17541, above) to use as his Very Own New Logo. Utter.Thing. Of. Beauty!

I nominate Captain muCephi as the new Production Designer and Head Main Title Sequence Sequencer!

I'd like to thank those that provided constructive feedback to our original article. The author dug a little deeper and did a rewrite as a result. In addition, the lack of response from Axanar Productions left us a bit unsettled. They stopped talking once we engaged into deeper inquiry.

Anyways, the article just went live:

A week after a federal judge used Alec Peters' social media postings to justify denying the defense's dismissal motion, Peters claims he's going quiet:
All, I will be stepping away from this group and all social media while we now move forward with the lawsuit. Hopefully we will settle this matter and I will be back. Our efforts will be focused on settling the lawsuit, preparing Axanar for the future, and making sure we can pay the rent by renting the studio.
