Isn't he the US Secretary of Defence now? Can't see Coulson handing SHIELD over to him or Talbot given what was said last week. Besides, if they had William Hurt, they would have used him in that scene to get the missile override code.Ross.
They showed the newspaper headlines of the destruction Quake had caused, and they looked like it was used as a name and not just shortened earthquake for a headline. I figure the entire Coulson crew is out as the Director as they are too close to the BAMF Inhuman Quake and his insistence of hiding from the Serkovia Accords. Part of the UN Avengers support crew Maria Hill or General Talbot being more than the public face of the ATCU and being flipped above Coulson are my preseason beats. The coda was a bit confusing. I get why Daisy might pull a Banner and walk away after what happened, but why are they so fixated on capturing her? The Accords? Did they intentionally botch the pick-up so they'd get reassigned?
I'm assuming her new look is just a disguise, at least I hope so. It doesn't suit her.
Who's the Director now? Is Fury back in a saddle? Hill? May?
Jumping ahead six months puts us close to the release to 'Doctor Strange' does it not? Though I can't see how the one could tie into the other.
So I wonder who's the LMD of? From what was said it sounds like it's going to be of someone we already know and the silhouette looked female. I thought it actually looked a bit like Daisy from the body type and the stance, but that doesn't make a huge amount of sense. Am I forgetting a female character they killed off? Drawing a blank.
It is complete Daisy/Quake is the MCU MagnetoSo Daisy is finally Quake now, huh? And she's some kind of renegade that SHIELD is hunting, though whether she's a vigilante or a terrorist is unclear. Her new look is kinda hot, though.
I dunno, though, the whole "Six Months Later" tag was a bit jarring. Shows these days are too caught up in cliffhangers and foreshadowing, and sometimes it gets in the way of an effective ending. I don't think we needed to see this preview of next season. The Radcliffe/AIDA part in particular seemed random without context. It would've been better just to end it with Hive's defeat and Daisy's grief, give us time to contemplate that and feel the emotions of it, and save the reveal of the new status quo for the season premiere in the fall.
He was Secretary of State he seemed very down in the weeds in Civil War,Isn't he (Ross) the US Secretary of Defence now? Can't see Coulson handing SHIELD over to him or Talbot given what was said last week. Besides, if they had William Hurt, they would have used him in that scene to get the missile override code.
Speaking of which, regardless of the outcome of what they did, shouldn't Talbot be up for a Court Martial for circumventing the chain of command? The military tend to be sticklers for that kind of thing.
Anyway, my money is on May as the new Director.

John Hannah is Scotish so he definitely could. I would love to see his take on the role. And science hunch was a great line. Maybe John Hanna can be the new Doctor, but he's not British, is he?

Did anyone think that the person Quake wanted the family to meet was Mr. Hyde?

Could one or both of them have survived? This is a comic book show after all. Besdies the obvious LMD tag scene, there are other options. Could Lincoln have turned into the Living Lightning or something like that? Once you start looking at all the crazy possibilities, the possible escapes from death are endless.
I like that idea. Talbot or Hill would be my top choices.Talbot! The shoe's on the other foot!
