Well axanar mentioned on Twitter an anouncement is coming and there be things to learn. Should make for interesting reading.

A lot but this time he needs to get something out soon. The way this came out is hurting him with the supporters he has left and he needs to give them something. He probably doesn't realize that though.

Were I a donor, I definitely would be more than irritated that the studio that I unwittingly helped pay for was now being transformed into just another studio facility. The donors thought they were paying for a damn movie, now they've paid for a studio, and now a rebranding/divestment operation.

I eagerly await any possible revolt that stems from this boneheaded maneuver.
 
It has always been about making ongoing money. The studio (and convention and toys and books...) is the principal way to do that. He'll film your fan film - but he will want the rights to make the models and ships and toys. The studio asset, built by IP theft, has always been the target.

Yeah if I was a donor I'd be very upset. I understand the need to pay the rent but this was the worst way to go about it. He has pissed off the donors and in the process giving c/p even more ammunition to use against him since this proves he is profiting off the money raised.

I wanted to see axanar because it looked like a good movie but the more I read and learned about peters and axanar productions the more I disliked how he was running things.

Right and when people ask why sue axanar and not x or y or z that is the reason. Ares studio...err... Warehouse...err Valkyrie studio. That is what made axanar the target. Not the quality of the movie or any of the other stuff claimed but building a for profit business using somebody else's ip. C/p could not allow that.

And that doesn't event get into the coffee and the novels he wanted to make.

Yep. At this point he would happily cut a deal with c/p to stop all work on axanar and call it even if he keeps the studio and be can blame them to his fans. Which is why they have to make sure he loses the studio and I'm sure they will.
