The Enterprise I used is a combination of three different models, the galaxy, original constitution and refit constitution. I am not sure at the moment who are the creators of each. When i finished I was going to make a list of all the components and artists to say thanks. I've sorta stalled on it for the moment.
This isn't exactly something I am still working on, as both are finished, but I did not want to make a new thread so I hope I am allowed to share in here. My art is customizing action figures and props. If anybody is interested I can also provide step by step pictures. The first I did was a 3-D chess game: And this is Captain Kirk with his shirt ripped open at the shoulder. I was surprised to find that it only happened in three episodes since it seems to be so iconic. I already have ideas for more - next project: Make Kirk in the outfit of the episode "A private little war".
Not something I'm working on, but thought you guys might be interested in this. It's a website I just found with some great concept art. Not sure about you guys but I spend alot of time on sites like conceptships.org studying the art for inspiration. I found this new site through a link at conceptships and it has alot of great stuff. http://agorapode.tumblr.com/ For some reason I find the motorcycle concepts the most interesting in terms of form. I keep trying to adapt the shapes to use as secondary hulls.
As always, I've been making Star Trek Voyager wallpapers (Res.: 1360 x 768 for HD monitors) If you like Voyager, please check out my thread at: http://www.trekbbs.com/threads/star-trek-voyager-desktop-wallpapers.279007/
That's not a tribble on the captain's chair. It's an Easter egg! Finally an end to the Vulcan ear jokes! "Ehhh, (nibble-nibble-nibble) What's up, Spock?" ------------- Cute graphic, by the way.
I will admit to trying out some tribbles in said chair. ...They came out a little more radioactive than I would've preferred.
Perhaps when I get the pc that these were rendered/modelled on back in working order. Had some.. cooling malfunctions.
Literally just got news that I'm getting a replacement 5960x so well damn I guess I better do the Twok uniform for Judy when it arrives next week and I can secure a new motherboard. Maybe even an old style bridge if I can find the files for one.
That Judy model is really getting around. I grabbed it myself. Now, I just gotta' learn Blender. Sincerely, Bill
