In Titanic I cried when the mother is putting her children to bed, knowing soon they will all be drowned.

Yeah - that hits me right in the feels. That segment is part of the best opening "teaser" of any Star Trek film or episode ever made.
Yeah I went into XI spoiler free and had never gotten on any hype train, my brain was still in Nemesis mode. Sure it would be better than that but I had absolutely no reason to think it would be anything other than "cool, more star trek".
By the time those metallic STAR TREK letters rotated onto the screen my mouth was on the floor, I'd already cried and I felt like my entire star trek core had been reborn.

I do remember listening to the notebook via audio book when it was on cassette in my taxi cab when I would taxi about for what was considered working... I know it was difficult to hold the tears from ... dripping out my eyes or leaking into the dash but I managed,.. and then ... they made a movie.. right I thought and knew that all those sex scenes were edited and became a g-pg level of softcore 
and the imagery that I dreamed of in the cab... as a cab-driver - was lost.

The extended sex scenes are on youtube, but you need a free account at youtube to get past the plus 18 age restrictions.
I'm assured that there is nipple slip, but I'm still in no rush.
