Warner Brothers have a big roster of DC superhero movies on their books, but which ones do we want to see?

Bear in mind, of course, that for most of these we have no idea what to expect - a lame concept might be done amazingly, or a great hero could be sunk by poor execution.... So use your imagination!

Which films would I actually pay to see in the cinema? -

Suicide Squad is a must-see, as far as I'm concerned. It looks deliciously wicked.
Cyborg has potential to be a great sci-fi movie - think Robocop crossed with The Matrix.
Batman with Affleck in the title role is obviously something many of us want to see, though I'm not sure he has the directing chops needed. But if the trailer looks good, I doubt I'll hesitate.

First and foremost, WONDER WOMAN.

And I'm crossing my fingers for SHAZAM although that's still way down the road.

Suicide Squad because I love Joker and Harley and so far all of the footage has looked great.
Wonder Woman because she's one of my favorite superhoes and Gal Gadot was great in BvS. I'm also very intrigued by the WWI setting and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.
Aquaman, because I can't think of any other big blockbuster movie focused on a underwater location like Atlantis. I'm also intrigued by the Pacific Islander theme they seem to be going for with the character.

Not a movie, but a prospective miniseries: Those Angry Days, about the years between the outbreak of WWII and the US' joining in combat hostilities, over the objections of many here at home. Should be a fascinating look at a unique time in the history of the District of Columbia.

... wait, what? :p

Pretty much all of them except for Shazam and Cyborg. I'm not particularly interested in either character. I think I'm most curious about The Flash. I always liked the Flash while growing up, though for me, Wally West is the Flash, not Barry Allen. But I'll take what I can get.

I'm not looking forward to any of them - I'm not enthusiastic about the DCCU yet. I remain to be convinced.

I'd say a few have a better chance of being good though, simply by having (imho) decent main characters - Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman (and by default, Justice League) and to a lesser extent Flash and Green Lantern. The rest are 'meh'.

Bottom of the pile for me is Suicide Squad. I've no interest in it whatsoever. In fact I'm conciously NOT looking forward to it.

I really want to see the New Feature Film, "DC Surreality: Inside the Beltway", but I cannot find an exact release date...January, 2017?

Seriously. I am looking forward to the Justice League Parts One and Two!
Loved reading those comics, way back in the 60s...

Suicide Squad, the only movie that doesn't involve any characters from a Snyder film in a major role. BvS has killed my interest in any further movies involving either Batman or Superman, good job too, considering they were both close to the top of my favourite comic book movie characters ever.

I'm a DC guy through and through, from Golden Age to Silver Age to Pre-Crisis to Post-Crisis. I have tats — the "S" shield on one bicep and the "Bat" on the other. I've been excited for every SUPERMAN movie that has come out until BATMAN v. SUPERMAN. It's the first time ever that I've been lukewarm on a movie featuring the Man of Steel.

Honestly, I'm looking forward more to Marvel's lineup than I am DC. And it pains me that it's like that. Because CAPTAIN AMERICA and AVENGERS remain the best SUPERMAN movies made in the 21st Century.

I'm a big comics fan but can take or leave Superhero films - I might pay to see Justice League but that's only a might.

Ah, if there were a Legion film on the slate, I'd have to be enthusiastic about it despite my growing pessimism concerning the DC film franchise.

For the love of Klordny, keep Snyder the hell away from the Legion!

I'm an insane fan of the Flash and was looking forward to it so hard until they announced who they cast. I was a bit meh by that, but then the two scenes of him we saw in Dawn of Justice has left me even more meh. Sure, one was just video store footage and is pretty meaningless, but his wailing from the motherbox wormhole was a real turn off for me.

I also really like the Big Red Cheese, but given the title of the movie, I can only assume they're going with the New 52 version of him, so a big raspberry on that. (As an aside, and I know it's had to have been brought up so many times before, but how does he introduce himself without depowering/powering up?!)

I was really into the idea of a Suicide Squad movie, too, especially after the animated movie (Batman: Escape from Arkham) showed how incredibly awesome it could be. But the trailers, the tones in Dawn of Justice, and all the talk about massive reshoots has tapered that excitement down quite a bit, too. Still have high hopes for it despite Leto's portrayal of the Joker, but I'm at least open to it.

Love love love Wonder Woman, but... Dawn of Justice. If it's anything like that (despite how she was one of the few bright spots of it), I already know I'm going to be disappointed. Especially if they continue to insist on washing out all the colors, which they are by all indications. The fuck is with that? Have these people never even seen a comic book before?

Green Lantern Corps? Didn't even know they were giving that one another go. They'll have to do something absolutely amazing to get me interested in seeing that after what they did to poor Ryan Reynolds. (And seriously, why didn't they go with Kyle Rayner or something? He was not a suitable fit for Hal Jordan. Like, at all.)

Cyborg? Never liked the character at all. Not sure why they keep trying to force him into being a founding member of the new Justice League. Sure, a tech expert and Hephaestus stand-in was definitely a major hole in their team lineup, but I'd still rather see the Martian Manhunter. (I feel the same way about Captain Marvel, but I lurvs him despite that.)

The others? Another big meh at the moment. Aquaman especially. Seriously, Jason Momoa? He's not even that great of an actor from what I've seen. Game of Thrones included.

All in all, Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice have really soured me to the cinematic side of the franchise, even though I'm a massive DC fan. They're going to have to do something really amazing to turn that around. As it stands, I'll be waiting for the cheapo movies to see most of them, if not the DVD releases.
