Spoilers The Flash - Season 2

No. I never felt that way about other shows that did the same (for different reasons) like Sliders. A lot of things has happened since last season. Compare that to other shows where there are usually relatively little change in the first two seasons.

I eagerly await the Thawne/Wells - E2/Wells meeting. I mean there is no way Thawne/Wells is going to allow the Flash to beat him now that the timeline is changed.
Glad the Piper is now a good guy and available to help out team Flash. Hope he starts hanging out with Wally more.
Now if we could only get Abra Kadabra to make an appearance.

I had a crazy thought watching the crossover episode. What if the Flash/Barry Allen we saw isn't the one we know, perhaps from Earth 4? His attitude seemed off. Barry's attitude was...more angry and determined in yesterday's episode.

No, we have it from the producers that we will be seeing the other end of the crossover. It just hasn't happened yet. The Flash may have gone a little bit back in time when he crossed universes, or else the stories are just being shown out of sequence.

Which actually helps make it feel more like comics, because sometimes scheduling delays or the vagaries of two different books' respective story arcs mean that crossover stories get published out of sequence. But in comics, we'd generally get an editor's footnote telling us where to find the other half of the story. Here, we just have to wait and see.

They're doing a slow burn with the speedsters though, like they did with making Laurel the Black Canary.

Slow burn? Dunno about that, since they've introduced four+ and we've at least two more who are waiting in the wings before getting some speedster powers. Who's left to introduce at this point? Impulse? I'd figure they'd space them out a bit more than they've been doing.

Impulse, Max Mercury, Johnny Quick (good and Evil Alternate Flash versions), and probably a couple I'm forgetting.

Savitar might make a good villain at some point. Had a woman speedster helping him, IIRC (name escapes me at the moment).

The problem with extra speedsters at this point is that they've downplayed Barry's powers. It's fine for the bad guys to be faster and Barry having to catch up, but bring in other heroic speedsters and they have to be very close to what Barry can do, according to the show. Whereas in the comics Kid Flash was limited to about the speeds Barry is stated to be capable of in the show, whilst comic Barry was regularly outpacing the speed of light.

I don't think Kid Flash was limited until he became Flash after the first Crisis. Perhaps a bit before when he was losing his powers.

Might be me misremembering, but I'm sure Wally would have noticed if he was able to break Mach 1 as Kid Flash but couldn't the instant he took over the mantle from Barry, and figured out it was psychological.

I am pretty sure you're right...the Crisis was supposed to "fix" some things in the DC universe that allegedly made it "too crazy" like multiple earths, over the top super powers, etc,

Oh...and I am wondering if the set up in Flash Back is something that will be set aside for Season 3, early storyline.

Barry talks about visiting what we know as Earth 3... so I think that will be an episode next season (a new earth each season, with Earth-SG being a special exception).

Barry has the device, but works on it the rest of the season...perhaps the finale he journeys...but winds up on Earth 3.

Also, not sure if mentioned here or just the Supergirl thread...but they could do a version of Crisis, where at least some earths merge...if they felt they could mix the two shows.

The Crisis would be done mostly offscreen, but we see the results.

That's dealt with in the last issue of Crisis on Infinite Earths, when Wally learns that as an effect of something or another that happened to him during the Crisis, his speed is no longer killing him, but he's now limited to Mach 1. He was never supposed to have been that slow when he was Kid Flash. I even vaguely recall a line from Teen Titans when he discovered that his speed was killing him...something about one of the early symptoms being that he could only circle the Earth two times a second instead of three.

Now it's possible that they retconned all of that after the fact, but that was how it actually played out in the comics that were originally published.

Back to the Future III will always haunt us.

I've always really enjoyed BTTF Part III. All of the BTTF movies are good, but 1 and 3 have always been more enjoyable then Part II for me, which isn't bad at all but isn't nearly as good as the first and third movies.

"Haunt" not in that it was bad, but that it revolved around the "stuck in the past because the technology doesn't exist yet to repair the machine".
