Spoilers The Flash - Season 2

"Haunt" not in that it was bad, but that it revolved around the "stuck in the past because the technology doesn't exist yet to repair the machine".

Ok, I get it now. I'm too used to BTTF III getting beat up on, I guess, and I completely missed the context of the comment.

If Thawne had the science to build a much better Tacheyon device... Why'd he steal Tina's?
Wasn't he mostly after the tachyons themselves, or at least a more efficient way to gather them? His own device was doing a pretty crappy job of it if Gideon's results were to be believed, at least compared to how much he consumed.

The problem with extra speedsters at this point is that they've downplayed Barry's powers. It's fine for the bad guys to be faster and Barry having to catch up, but bring in other heroic speedsters and they have to be very close to what Barry can do, according to the show. Whereas in the comics Kid Flash was limited to about the speeds Barry is stated to be capable of in the show, whilst comic Barry was regularly outpacing the speed of light.

The opening monologue "I'm the fastest man alive" is a bit of a joke now, isn't it. It should say, "My name's Barry Allen and I used to think I was the fastest man alive."

I suppose we could assume Barry is narrating the intro. from a future in which he becomes the fastest man alive. He is certainly working in that direction.

I thought this week's episode was alright. It was good seeing "Wells"/Reverse Flash again. My only issue with it was I was thinking they were going to use this episode to bring Eddie back (into the present day). I don't think there were enough changes, or consequences from Barry's time travel on this episode at least.

Well, that was a blast of an ep! Though really, another three-week break?! I certainly hope they slot Legends of Tomorrow in between half of Arrow or Flash's season next year, Agent Carter-style. Sheesh. :p

(Also, while I guess he technically contributed to this episode's plot, the Wally Wally West stuff is still dull as all heck.)

it made me realize I prefer Tom Cavanaugh's performance as the Thawne version of Wells to the Earth 2 version. The taciturn gravelly voice performance just doesn't sit right with me.

I loved seeing Harrison/Wells again. It was a much more nuanced performance, which the earth 2 wells is a little more forceful, and with good reason because he's an overprotective father. It did provide a nice contrast to the Wells we knew and the Wells we know now.

Potential Spoiler - I am warning because I have been called out about not caring about spoilers.
John Wesley Shipp posted a picture to Facebook and Twitter. Him with another previous guest star. Now it could mean a couple of things. Only thing I am sure of the picture was taken today. He answered that to me directly.
