Ok, I get it now. I'm too used to BTTF III getting beat up on, I guess, and I completely missed the context of the comment.
BttFIII had ZZ Top. That automatically makes it good.
He had the plans because he had already stolen the device. It was on his suit in the time vault.
Wasn't he mostly after the tachyons themselves, or at least a more efficient way to gather them? His own device was doing a pretty crappy job of it if Gideon's results were to be believed, at least compared to how much he consumed.
The opening monologue "I'm the fastest man alive" is a bit of a joke now, isn't it. It should say, "My name's Barry Allen and I used to think I was the fastest man alive."
I suppose we could assume Barry is narrating the intro. from a future in which he becomes the fastest man alive. He is certainly working in that direction.
April Fool's
I refuse to believe anything news on April Fools Day.
I was surprised too, then I kept reading about all the other crossovers and realized that it was April 1st.
I thought this week's episode was alright. It was good seeing "Wells"/Reverse Flash again. My only issue with it was I was thinking they were going to use this episode to bring Eddie back (into the present day). I don't think there were enough changes, or consequences from Barry's time travel on this episode at least.
What did Barry whisper to Past Cisco about Hartley anyway? I didn't catch that.
That Hartley knows where to find Ronnie Raymond.
That Hartley knows about Ronnie.... he had to maintain the timeline. That was important information.
Well, that was a blast of an ep! Though really, another three-week break?! I certainly hope they slot Legends of Tomorrow in between half of Arrow or Flash's season next year, Agent Carter-style. Sheesh.

it made me realize I prefer Tom Cavanaugh's performance as the Thawne version of Wells to the Earth 2 version. The taciturn gravelly voice performance just doesn't sit right with me.
I loved seeing Harrison/Wells again. It was a much more nuanced performance, which the earth 2 wells is a little more forceful, and with good reason because he's an overprotective father. It did provide a nice contrast to the Wells we knew and the Wells we know now.
