From E&Y's Wiki:
Peter's award was for the southeast US, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.
And not saying that he's a giant liar *cough* but the only reference that I can find that he did win that award are from Peter's own sad menagerie of failed business websites.
Hear hear. All this wild speculation has no place here. If we're going to damn him, let's damn him for what he's done re Axanar and his business practices. Beyond that is unseemly and unsavory.
I live right down the street from where Peter's graduated from law school. Anyone think I can waltz in and see where he ranked? I'm guessing near the bottom, but UNC doesn't publicly release said rankings.
Yes, academic records are pretty tightly restricted these days. Going around asking would be a bit like asking a doctor for a patient's medical record -- you need permission from the person. As such, and just on general principles of not inviting stalking accusations, I suggest not doing this.
Just outright lie... Alec did it after all!
Makes me think they must have some sort of high stakes compromise proposal on the table with the studios
It is interesting that no one identifying themselves as Axanar had a word to say on the Trekmovie Axanar thread this week, not one. Makes me think they must have some sort of high stakes compromise proposal on the table with the studios, and if so, the attorneys may have made it clear they have to be silent, as in stfu(!!!), in highly visible places.
Even if he was a straight-A student, it is pretty much irrelevant to being a bad actor (in all its meanings).
This and this again. Alec Peters has done enough to discuss. I don't know why there's an obsession about digging up every little thing--seriously... his grades in school? WTF.
Well said, I agree. My point, to be explicit, is that NO one's PERSONAL life is 'fair game' regardless whether they are part of the lawsuit or even look like a 'willing accomplice'. Perhaps 'fair game' for examining what they have represented about Axanar goals or operations, but NOT for what they say (or what anyone says about them) about their personal relationships, or even more, what one might like to infer and speculate about their personal relationships.
Axanar business ops and Axanar personnel personal lives just gotta be separated and this boundary respected.
$300,000 settlement... plus 20 percent defendant's premium and 15 percent handling cost for the signed papers.
Aw, now you're messing up Civil War. We can't have that here.I bet he didn't just steal CBS's IP, he also wears Underroos.
The two wrongs make a right, the ends justifies the means, is a slippery slope at best. I'll pass, thank you.Just outright lie... Alec did it after all!

Did someone say underoos?I bet he didn't just steal CBS's IP, he also wears Underroos.

It's been verified. He is an inactive member of the Notth Carolina Bar. Now staaap already. He's a lawyer, he just can't practice law at the moment. He could if he got his continuing Ed credits up to date. He's also said he never practiced law. Can we put this debate to bed?I agree with you, but to be fair, I don't think it's his grades that people are after. I think it's the knowledge of whether or not he actually attended law school in the first place like he says he did. Given his track record, it probably wouldn't surprise anyone if he attended some mock trial or something and decided that merited the term "law school."
Personally, I don't think it's worth the time; that's not something I think he's lied about, as it's far too easy to verify.
