Marvel/Netflix Daredevil season 2.

Elektra's got a proper costume after all and it looks pretty good.:bolian:

It's some sort of flak jacket, and he's painted it to create a skull motif that follows its lines. I doubt they found an off-the-rack item that had that pattern to it already, though.
Looks like it could possibly have been splashed with something and coincidentally dried that way.
Yeah, that's a first. Pretty clever too.

Suit up!

I'm so glad we get the new season in his suit entirely. Last season it felt more like a black ninja than Daredevil. I was surprised how late in the season he actually got the suit, even though in hindsight it was worth it.

Ask the Daredevil cast. This is pretty funny.

Based on the trailers I've seen, maybe this is a show I should take nice and slow. I almost feel like with it's utter darkness, it could get really exhausting. Will make posting in this thread a little harder though.

The idea of a character winning outside their weight class is pretty common in comics - Spidey took down firelord, juggernaut etc.

Three episodes in. Jon Bernthal OWNS The Punisher. He is freaking amazing in the part. Things get moving quickly with DD and Frank coming to blows in the very first episode. The fight scene at the end of Ep 3 was intense and a sequel of sorts to the hallway fight in S1.02, although I doubt that this was done in a single take. One complaint about the sequence is that there was some obvious CGI, especially with the chain DD fights with. Nice callback to Jessica Jones when Claire reveals that she got into hot water at the hospital after helping Luke escape (although Luke isn't mentioned by name).

With the massive backlog of TV that I already have, this show now sits in at number 12 in the queue.

I'm just hoping to have it completed in time for Luke Cage come September.

Perhaps some good TrekBBS reviews will bump the show up a few places.

But with Fargo S2, House of Cards S4, The Americans S3, Narco S1, Bosch S2, two seasons of Peaky Blinders, Deutschland '83 and christmas Blu Rays to still sift through, I fear the man wtithout fear will have to be put on hold.

Hugo - damn you Golden Age of TV!!

Well, I'm going to hate myself at work tomorrow, but I watched one more and I'm glad I did. Gonna say it again-- Jon Bernthal-- Wow. He had me near tears when he was telling Matt about his daughter. This episode concludes the season's first arc. Next episode--Elektra.

But, tomorrow...

WTF?! I could have sworn I read Daredevil was coming out Good Friday when Batman Superman did! What a pleasant surprise!

That was the rumor shotgunned around different entertainment sites, but debunked when DD released their first posters and trailers. Just people who keep fanning the Marvel vs DC war, but then tucking tail when their audience calls them out for it.
