Has Quinto's Spock done enough shouting?

Has he lived up to the legacy of Leonard Nimoy in Star Trek's earliest episodes? Is "KHAAAAAAN!!" up there with "THE WOMEN!!" and "CHECK THE CIRCUIT!"? Is the legacy safe and has the promise been fulfilled? Or are we hoping for further shouting in Star Trek Beyond?

"WE WILL FIND HOPE IN THE IMPOSSIBLE!!!"

I believe Samuel T. Cogley addressed this very same issue in a thread from way back before ST09 was released.

The "KHAAAAAN" scream was a special circumstance, so I don't think it counts. Spock needs to be shouting more in the course of regular conversation, as in the "CHECK THE CIRCUIT!!!" example.

This Spock is a lot like B'Elanna, who tried very hard to suppress their other half to the extremes. They bottle it up to a point, when they can't hold on any longer... they EXPLODE with emotions and rage. I think he lived up to the screaming legacy of Leonard Nimoy, I liked when Spock ran all over San Francisco to chase down Sherlock. Later beating the crap out of him.

Sadly, Spock shouting is ending.

In STB, Spock and McCoy are made participants of a bizarre alien experiment. Spock's primal emotions are permanently transferred into McCoy leaving Spock totally in control but McCoy is left more irritable than ever.

There's no point in watching the film now!

:guffaw:

The "Shouting Spock" thread was fun. Sadly, for me, the movie itself was not fun. Yes, there has been more than enough shouting, and it's time for nuSpock to stop.

The good news is in the next film, things heat up after Spock eats an explosive combination of beans spiked with boot leg bourbon then goes on a ship wide shouting spree.

EDIT: This joke STINKS!

QuintoSpock seems a lot more emotional than NimoySpock, but I chalk that up to QuintoSpock being about the same age as NimoySpock from The Cage, as well as having to deal with Vulcan being blown up. So I cut him a little slack there.

Maybe Vulcans are hard of hearing? :) Wouldn't that be counter intuitive!
Well...

SPOCK [Henoch]: This is an excellent body, Doctor. I seem to have received the best of the three. Strength, hearing, eyesight, all far above your human norms. I'm surprised the Vulcans never conquered your race.

KIRK: Spock! It's all right, Spock. It stopped.
SPOCK: No, Captain, it hasn't stopped. It has gone beyond
(Now it affects Kirk. Scott is already unconscious)
SPOCK: Captain, they're using
