The Agony Booth, Oh My...

Spock's Barber

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Imagine you have access to the Agony Booth. What fictional or real person would you like to see inside this interesting device?

I can think of one of my ex-bosses that I would love to see squirming like Chekov did in the Agony Booth. Full duration!

I'd go with the person that fired me from my last job. Because he outsourced my responsibilities. And he was so chicken, he had someone else do it.
In universe, I'd go with the lovely T'Pring. A session just long enough to teach her a lesson for screwing with Mr Spock.

I would consider the Borg their own species. They fit all the requirements.

Plus there's that little niggly detail that the virus may not have worked. Oops.

I consider the Borg on par with a virus that preys on humanoid bodies for its survival.

Virus may not have worked. But at least Picard doesn't look like a chump at the end of the day.

Meh. It was TNG man... they couldn't have the Utopian Hippies slaughtering billions and billions of robopeople.
That wouldn't honor Gene's Vision™!

Then they shouldn't have made it sound full proof. There should have been some debate whether the virus would've actually work. The way it is presented in the episode makes Picard look really bad.

Tbh I think its one of Picard's best moments. Even though he had suffered so greatly at the hands of the Borg, he wouldn't cross that line. Bravo for him.

I don't. And I'm the type that hates to harm a housefly.

His inaction nearly gave the Alpha Quadrant to the Borg.
