And, I just learned her name. :guffaw:
They should totally do a short story about her being an obsessive fangirl for Chewbacca for thirty years.

I'm not a 'shipper, but if I had to pick a couple to get together during the Sequel Trilogy it would be Rey and Finn. They have great chemistry together and both of them were a lot of fun to watch.

In the novelization, there are hints of Rey x Poe. In the movie, they never actually met each other.

I am really looking forward to watching the ending duel over and over. So much interesting fighting.

Definitely going to be a well worn disc for me :)

The lightsaber battle in this film was not my favorite. It just seemed like two people in their back yard fighting with lightsabers. I have seen some youtube stuff with people in their back yards fighting (They added the effects after of course) and they were filmed better than the one in TFA. My favorite battle is the one in TESB. The ones in ROTS are my second favorites.

Its all a matter of opinion of course.

I have filmed lightsaber duels in my backyard, city parks, loading docks, beaches and gardens. I'm familiar with the concept, believe me :D

Having said that, I didn't get that impression at all, because many backyard ones are very staged and amaterurish in the sense that the fighters are careful not to injure each other. I wish I still had the footage of one with a friend of mine who missed my nose by a matter of centimeters. Quite scary.

The TFA one gave me the impression of amateurs, but in a less refined and skilled way. There was a rawness that I absolutely loved, as the fighters' emotions are right on the surface, much like Luke at the end of the ROTJ duel. Is it the best fight? No, absolutely not. It feels sloppy and amateur in terms of combat and I think that is on purpose.

Sure they do. But, it was nice to have fighters who were not perfect right out of the gate. I think this might be an instance of watching them grow in their skill will include their different combat skills, with each one forming a particular style.

they were supposed to be bad at it. that was the entire point.

Though I wonder why Kylo is so bad when a) he trained at the Jedi Academy and b) he's been working for Snoke for years. Apparently Snoke hasn't bothered to give him any training and is only going to start now (?!).
