Big Bang Theory Season 9 Discussion (Spoilers included)

Season 9 was sort of fun. But I'm losing interest. Penny and Leonard marry? Blech... seems so set up. Where as the shamy thing, although was a bit of a fan cop out in the end, seemed to flow more organically. Raj is still pathetic, I feel sorry for him. Wallowitz is fn gross. Bernadette is awesome, her humor and Sheldon carry the show.

Hey, is Melissa actually pregnant? That's usually the reason shows make characters pregnant. Or is it actually all just in-story?

Amy finally feels like a grown up. Sheldon drinking is always fun.

Very good ep., everything at the Tiki-bar was golden. This is one of the few shows where I fell out of love with the main cast and then fell back again. (Most of of my past relationships aren't espacially healthy, )

I'm really worried for Adam West now. He looked incredibly old and spent the entire episode sitting on the couch. He always sounded so strong and alive in podcasts and on Family Guy...

Given he's 87 I guess we can worry about him but can applaud the fact he's still working (even if it's mainly voice over)

Did they steal that "100% pure West" line from the Simpsons? It seemed awfully familiar to me.

Pure West was the Simpson's line, and because the set up is so similar, you assumed that he was going to say pure west, but what Adam said tonight was... %100 Grade "A" West.

In all likelihood, Adam has probably been saying variations of that line at live events ten years before he did the Simpsons and every day after as well.

Agreed. They start out as misfits and "graduate" as just your everyday domesticated soccer dads--fade to black.

Me too! I'm so over Leonard and Penny and I've never cared for Howard/Bernadette but I've loved the Shamy relationship from the start. I've enjoyed watching their progression. They kissed and he enjoyed it, he took care of Amy when she was ill, he told her that he loved her. It's been great to watch Sheldon grow as a person. What's even more endearing is that they both accept each other as is.

He had a ring for crying out loud!

It has been a ok season so far.
