Big Bang Theory Season 9 Discussion (Spoilers included)

I feel like the writing (and the humor) this season has been better than it has been for quite a while. But the show isn't really improving, despite that, because they're cutting the stories down to the absolute bare bones. The A stories are resolved way too fast and easily and the B stories have become almost non-existent at this point, so it's basically down to just watching this group of friends hang out and tease each other for 20 minutes.

It was surprisingly sweet of Sheldon to add the scholarship fund clause for Baby Wolowitz.

I want to see what "Shelvetica" looks like.

I think by this point the show needs to end, I think S10 could be good but just let the show go on a high. Friends ended very similarly after 10 seasons and still stands the test of time.

I agree. The four guys are in a very different place than when the show started. Two of them are married, one expecting. The other is in a serious relationship. and Raj can talk to women.

Friends only ended when it did because certain actors wanted to move on. No one wants to move on this show will go on until they do. Just look at NCIS and Supernatural for shows on way too long.

That storage room didn't seem nearly big enough to contain everything a man in his late 30s has owned.
But there looked like there was a LOT of cool stuff in there!

^ Idea!

He could host a weekly internet show and share what he has saved with the world.

Sheldon Cooper Presents: Storage Room Secrets!

yes but all his viewers would have to sign a non-disclosure agreement :)

No idea how much stuff that had been set dressing or used in story lines was in there but noticed yellow TNG uniform in there.

And that laptop that Amy bought him? - about $2200 worth the luck guy.

That was a great episode (with Sheldon keeping his old stuff in a storage instead of throwing them out). I knew that he would toss the golf back in before the door shut lol

Quite an interesting revelation of Sheldon as a hoarder. That's the nicest, cleanest and most organized hoarder's nest that I've ever seen! Good bonding moment for him and Amy. In so many ways, he has come a long way since the beginning.

read as Sheldon..

Me, with a secret storage room hoard... Really? Just who do they think they're fooling? Just how do they propose to explain how I, not being a driver and needing to be driven everywhere and all, have managed to covertly amass such a huge pile of crap? Hmm? Answer me that!

;)

Once again I like the writing of this season, hoarding actually makes sense for Sheldon's personality and it was handled kinda nicely.

I liked the premise, but was Jim Parsons really directed to act that "down" ? I felt like throughout the whole Sheldon storyline that he was phoning it in.

I really liked Leonard and Howard seeing Suicide Squad though. As someone who's eagerly awaiting the film I was jealous they got to see it (yeah yeah, I know it's fake ).
