^^
All I meant was this settlement will clearly end with a CBS/Ares big budget co-production of Axanar and CBS could use a bulldozer to do some landscaping for exterior scenes.

You're a hater for thinking I'm a hater!

Hater!

Peters response to pretty much every question, "everyone else is doing it" and "are you a donor?"

Jury selection:

"have you ever worn pointed ears?" "Next!"
"fill in the blank: ____ Wesley" "Next!"

Arguments:
Prosecution: defendant sought to rewrite the rules of acquisition..
Defense: no one works for money anymore, they work to fulfill their potentials..

Another mention of the second law firm.

More furnishing to be done instead of making the movie.

I have this mental image in my head of Alec Peters, wide eyed and delusional, sitting on the brand new carpet in his office, playing with little Star Trek figures saying "Why if it isn't Bob Blackman! Come on in! YES sir, I've been a fan of yours for years! Oh, and look, it's the Queen of England, and Gene Roddenberry has arisen from the grave to grant me his blessings! What's that? Yes Gene, I'll suck that. It's been my lifelong ambition."

Peters now says his quotes in the 1701 article were taken out of context and others heavily edited out, which isn't surprising that he would make that claim. And that he'd do so in his echo chamber:

Wait, he says pros in front of the camera and pros behind the camera. If the people behind the cameras are getting paid.....isn't this a pro production, just like he said on the Indiegogo page?

Is he really admitting this......................again???

Look, Peters thought that he was doing himself a favor with this interview. Now that he realizes that it's a public relations disaster - at best - he's blaming other people for that.

It's what he does.

Remember when he thought the Screenrant piece was going to help him? He doesn't get that any time people other than his followers are permitted to comment on what he says - anywhere that he doesn't control the dialogue - he gets busted up. Few people other than his followers are buying the bullshit, and he's not rallying new folks to his banner in any significant numbers.

He kind of says it like CBS can't get pros in front of or behind the camera. I mean, he really is delusional at this point.

From this article:
http://1701news.com/node/1001/peters-axanar-quality-spurred-lawsuit.html

Alec Peters: "I'm not volunteering my time," he said. "I can't do this for free. If I make minimum wage, I'm lucky. The fans who donate? They understand. They don't have any problem with me paying myself."

To Mr. Peters: As a KS Backer of the first Axanar feature length KS campaign (pledged $75) I have a HUGE issue/problem with you paying yourself a salary. Go f**k yourself, and don't dare speak for me on that issue.

It is very telling that Alec feels the need to make snide remarks regarding other Fan Films. It's true what people say. He does believe his own hype. He's making all these comments about how superior Axanar is based on a 20 minute documentary style film. Let's be honest. It's not a showcase of Alec's or his teams skill. It's almost purely a showcase of Tobias Richter's.
^^^
+1 - Tobias Richter's work was one on the major factors for me deciding to Pledge to Axanar's KS campaign. The scripted dialogue certainly wasn't anything remarkable, but (IMO) the visuals were very nice.

Since when does a law firm get a case, and then "share" it with another firm that "wants" to be a part? If the case is that desirable, why share?
Remember Alec Peters himself was personally named in the lawsuit separately from Axanar Productions. If anything, this is probably the one smartest move he's made regarding the lawsuit as it's most likely that this second team is defending him personally in the lawsuit. <--- But that's just an educated guess.

Peters now says his quotes in the 1701 article were taken out of context and others heavily edited out, which isn't surprising that he would make that claim. And that he'd do so in his echo chamber:
<GASP> - Does this mean Mr. Peters will be suing the "1701 News" website and the article's editor for libel??!! (And will he start another KS campaign so the "Axanar faithful" can pay to see that happens plus accrue his own attorney fees as by his own admission Mr. Peters IS an attorney...) ;):razz:
