Starship Farragut has just released their next Kickstarter campaign for the ‘Homecoming’. This will be their last film set within 60’s era Trek. The filming is already 50% complete and will feature a cameo by Stan Lee as Admiral McCann.

The links can be found via their Facebook page:

I am just curious regarding Farragut Forward: have they decided how the sets will be designed? Specifically in regards to bridge design, would they be going with a bridge similar to the TMP - TVH stylized bridge Or the TFF / TUC movie design?

John Broughton mentioned in the Kickstarter that they are aiming for Wrath of Khan-style sets.

I love these guys - to a person they're an energetic, positive group with great esprit de corps - and I love what they do. If I contributed to any fan film Kickstarter it'd be to theirs and to Intrepid's (if Intrepid did such a thing).

^Good to know, i had only read what was posted after you mentioned the video went back and watched it. Exciting times ahead!

Wow, how about a link or address in the vid? is it kickstarter/farragut.com or kickstarter/homecoming .com, or ... ?

I just googled FARRAGUT, Kickstarter and Homecoming and it was the first link at the top of the page.

My point is that a promotional video should include an address or link to the event it is promoting.

eta:
There is a "Click Here to visit the Kickstarter Page" at the end but it appears to be broken.

Whoever posted that video didn't realize that you can't link out to any old website from a YouTube video, only a domain you own. The link is in the description on YouTube however.

Since we're not supposed to share crowdfunding links here, people are just going to have to Google it if they want to find it.

Without being specific, there are an unusual number of ST Fan Film fundraisers all going on the same time. That is not good for any of them.
