Zaminhon, I borrowed the video above from their YouTube page, so links to their Kickstarter page would be there in plain sight. Anyhoo, their Kickstarter is doing much better now with 3 days left and less than 1300$ to reach their goal. Always happy when another project gets the funds it needs to soldier on. Now I just want to be flooded with many finished films in 2016.
YouTube doesn't allow you to attach just any link to a video. It has to be to a domain you own and one where you can place a file they send you to verify it's yours. As such, you can't link out to a Kickstarter page directly with a video annotation.
This is the first and only fan film Kickstarter I've contributed to - I like these folks that much. There's one other I'd kick in for if they launched a crowdfunder.
As a donor I was able to watch the pre show episode. What a great job they did with this episode/movie. Great story line, great video quality, good work by all. And a real ride and review of their time together. What a gift to Star Trek fans for Valentine's Day. I give this11 Starships out of 10.
"Farragut" of late has kind of been the "RC Cola" of fan films, but I was very impressed with "Crossover". If they plan on moving into the TMP era, maybe they should think about a non-Connie ship, like the Phobos or Churchill classes. Assuming, that is, that any of this gets to happen.
