My take on the NX refit (WIP)

This doesn't feel like a refit, but a whole new class, you know?

And it would kind of link up with the design of the Kelvin.

To me--the Kelvin saucer would look better there than the lumpy NX saucer.

To me--the Kelvin saucer would look better there than the lumpy NX saucer.

The idea was that this was to be the NX-08 Dauntless, one of the very last of the NX class off of the assembly line to see active service, and therefore one of the last to receive a refit. By the time a refit would be required, starfleet would apply what they had learned with previous refits, hence a different design and arrangement.
