That's a ripoff. Those would be fair prices to
keep the episodes forever - but not to watch them only one time. And I've heard that this paid service even has ads...LOL...if it truly has ads, then that ups the ante from it just being a ripoff to it being a
mega-ripoff.
Forbes is right, this is a terrible idea. Some hardcore Trek fans will overpay to watch Trek products, but many will not, and non-hardcore fans and non-Trek fans
definitely will not. In order words, this strategy of forcing people to pay for a service of dubious value just so they can watch one show is going to alienate the vast majority of that show's potential viewers.
