Terry and Spencer were my two favorites. I really thought I was going to see both go in one episode. Disappointed to see Terry go like that, but really just happy everything seems to be working out well for his son. Survivor's great and all, but who really cares when there's something like that on the line.

And wow, the producers must have been super happy with how this tribal council played out. They should not have written a better storyline than putting Spencer's fate in Kas's hands. I'm clearly partial being a Spencer fan, but it was really impressive seeing Kas step back and make a strategic move rather than an emotional one, which was essentially her biggest problem in her original season.

Out of everyone it seemed Ciera is the one who came out most ahead.

Big time! Ciera is kinda great. Though with the merge coming up she' about to go from the head of an alliance of 4 in a group of 6, to just another person in what is lining up to be a total cluster-F.

Gotta say, I'm loving this season so far. I haven't watched all seasons of Survivor (the last one I watched all the way through was Cagayan) but this one has to be up there.

Stephen Fischbach...it's comedy gold every time he tries to do anything remotely physical.

It has been a good season so far. A lot of people are playing well and nobody has lost purely on luck. I don't mind Woo being voted out because he's just a bad player.

It's weird how Probst refers to Stephen by his last name. I don't remember him doing that in his first season, and 'Fishback' sounds like a funny nickname containing an inside joke.

Anyone else think Amazing Race is really weak this year? Not as bad as last year with the dating gimmick, but there are just no likable teams. One team are professional violators of privacy and there are multiple complainer teams.

When did Amazing Race start again? I had no idea. How many episodes have I missed?

Regarding Survivor... I don't care which 'Kelly' gets voted out first, just so long as one of them does. It's a bit obnoxious that even their fellow tribe members call them by their last names.

Amazing Race usually starts up the same week as Survivor, it's about six episodes in. Currently 7 teams remaining.

I don't know when this last name thing expanded this way. It must have been when Cochrane made the comment that Probst always calls his favorites by their last name. He must have actually started consciously doing that after he thought about it.

Damn. Well, no point watching it this time, then. There wouldn't be any context for what's going on or figuring out who to root for.

As for the names, I realize it would be confusing with two Kellys in the same challenge. And some people prefer to be known by their last name, if they don't like their first name, or if their last name gives more of an impression of toughness.

Not sad to see Kass go. Even though she was starting to put together a decent strategic game she's not exactly the sort to inspire trust.

I'm starting to wonder if they're planning on de-merging before merging again. The early merge at 13 and the fact they went from 2 to 3 makes me wonder if they're going to try it.

Its already 2-3-2-1, why not 2-3-2-1-2-1?

I'm more than happy to see Kass go. I couldn't stand her. They need to get rid of Ciera next, as she's become such an obnoxious person.

Besides Kelly, does anyone else have an idol?

I think Jeremy has an idol.

Agree about Ciera. I'm not even sure why she got a second chance in the first place. Other than voting for her mom in her last appearance, what makes her stand out?

That was perfect! Instant classic for sure.

Also kind of loved Keith joyriding.

My thought exactly. It was such a rookie move for a bunch of veterans. My only guess is that maybe they thought idols weren't in play, since the none have been played and the only two people who have gotten them haven't shared that fact with anyone. Of course, one of those two people is Jeremy, so he knows they are in play, and easily could have suggested splitting the vote.

Probably one of those things where people were having this conversation but its somewhere on the editing room floor.

Regardless, I'm glad they didn't. I liked Savage well enough but it was absolutely gold watching it happen!

It was nice to see spontaneous fun that had nothing to do with strategy. :)

And I nodded off in an inconvenient place - I know Joe won the immunity challenge and Kelly played her idol and dodged what would have been a nuke instead of a bullet, but why was she targeted in the first place? Why was Savage targeted?

And why the hell weren't Ciera or that Fish-what'sisname targeted? I really can't stand those two.

That was one of the best episodes of Survivor I've ever seen! What a finish.

That was hilarious. I wonder why they chose to vote for Savage. I think it was a good move, he really had become sort of a figurehead for that alliance, but I wish they would have shown that conversation. It's really great because I think their other best options were Stephen, Jeremy and Tasha, and they know that Stephen is on the outs anyway.

By the way, I really laughed at Stephen's comments that this season is different from every other 30 seasons of Survivor in that there is no top and bottom alliance members...from his position on the bottom of the alliance, it would look that way, wouldn't it.

So Joe made an effort for it to be Fishback, but Jeremy came in and convinced his alliance that it was better to take out one of the girls now. I think it was probably just a toss-up between Kelly and Ciera, and they went Kelly because she's a stronger competitor.

I really hope it's Fishbreath that gets voted out next.

I think Stephen is right because it seems this year, alliances don't exist for more than one tribal and lines redraw every week.

Though, this isn't much different from the second half of the season Natalie won.

Savage was one of the strongest players this game but with that level of blunder not splitting the votes he deserved to go.
