New season is live. Thought these things were always Thursdays, maybe they are giving themselves a couple extra days to work out bugs before the weekend? Always worked out badly when they drop it Thursday, things don't go right, and then they get crushed by weekend traffic immediately, so tuesday is probably not a bad plan.

Didn't get time to explore, but took a crack at a couple Admiralty missions...

Normally, yes, but in its info it says explicitly that this one, being a promo thing, is non-transferable and bound to character. That's why in the blog they wrote to choose carefully on which captain you pick it up.
And I chose my Sci Rom, because if I never see a Romulan SCI ship, I'm going to get the Dyson some day.

I will try to check if I can move it, because maybe they overlooked it but I am prepared that it may not be the case.

Thats weird I didn't have any trouble putting mine in the account bank and it only says bound to account.

Just a little over half a day and my characters have already gained one specialization point through a combination of doffing and the admiralty system. It makes me wonder admiralty's reward will get nerfed?

I successfully upgraded my Ar'Kif on another toon, too.

But the phrasing of the tip was either misleading, or their attempt at making it character bound failed

Cryptic's post said that any ship that was "available" to a character would show up in the Admiralty thingy. However, I found that I had to claim the available ships for them to populate. Claiming some of the lower level ships was good for the quick easy missions.

^By that they mean "available for immediate use" (i.e. in the roster). Once you gain a card, you don't lose it, so you're free to delete ships after you get the card.

I like the look of the Kara class warbird but what's the giant fin sticking out the bottom in some of the pictures? How is that even practical? Does it land?

This is the kind of thing I was talking about earlier regarding friend requests. I seem to get heaps of these and usually miss the ads link to them in the chat window.. My ignore list as a result is big..

They send the request and usually in 2 seconds it says they removed you from their list. Clearly this is a bot that is harvesting some kind of information..
