So the Defiant/T'Varo/B'Rel set is finally here.
The T'Varo looks to be a cloaked torpedo monster! With the 3 piece set reducing torpedo cooldown, destabilized plasma torpedo cooldown and enhancing torpedo shield penetration all at the same time you don't want to meet this ship in a dark alley!
The T6 Defiant seems ok, no real bells and whistles, just a beefed up version of the previous one with a more fleixible boff layout.
It was realistically out of the question, taking into account the other iconic ship layouts, but it really should have had pilot abilities.
I would hope that the Galaxy, Intrepid and Defiant will at some point retroactively gain command/intel/pilot specials.
Otherwise the Defiant is not the highest damage dealer, but looks solid and a good choice for straight escort.
The bundle is probably the most interesting price since I can actually see myself using all 3 ships every once in a blue moon, though not on my main.
But I will never get much mileage out of them, so have a hard time justifying the price.
Maybe I just buy some keys, sell those on the exchange, buy ship modules for those ECs and just get the fleet version for basically half the price or so on the toon I want it on.
